When it was late, Arabella had gotten back to Cassius's room despite dawdling for a while as she didn't want to see Cassius's face after the rumors she had heard about him and Isabelle. She tried to convince herself that she shouldn't be the one to run away and that their relationship wasn't one where she could get hurt from him being with another woman all night.
But despite convincing herself thus in her head, her heart felt restless.
