Chapter 137 - Chapter 137

Kakashi waved his hand with a smile and said, "Since it suits you, it naturally has its uses. Maybe it will help you make a name for yourself in the future." Yoruha shook his head with a wry smile, "You're thinking quite far ahead." "But since you've said so, I'll accept it."

Although it was a valuable gift, refusing it after Kakashi had already given it would seem too impolite. Kakashi then reminded Yoruha of many things to be cautious of during missions. Despite his trust in Yoruha's abilities, Kakashi still had some concerns.

After all, this mission was to be carried out by Yoruha alone, which made him uneasy. In the following days, after making his preparations, Yoruha left the village. As Yoruha departed, Sasuke sat at the village gate, watching Yoruha's figure grow smaller in the distance, murmuring to himself, "I will definitely not let you down, Yoruha. Just wait, maybe one day I can catch up to you."

Once Yoruha disappeared from his sight, Sasuke also left the gate. Nearby, Kakashi leaned against the Konoha gate, appearing relaxed, yet his gaze was fixed on Yoruha's gradually disappearing silhouette. After Sasuke left, Kakashi's lips curled slightly, "Sasuke has changed a lot because of you. Will Konoha also change in the future because of this?"

Kakashi was very pleased with his student, Yoruha. After Yoruha left, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura continued training with Kakashi. Sasuke and Naruto were constantly competing with each other, training with great effort, even to the point of being harsh.

Sakura couldn't keep up with their training intensity. Kakashi had no choice but to have Sakura focus on basic taijutsu training and then learn genjutsu from Kurenai. Kurenai was quite happy with Kakashi's request.

She really liked Sakura as a student, and her class didn't have anyone who could learn genjutsu from her. Moreover, Sakura had a high talent for genjutsu.

Several days after leaving Konoha, Yoruha wasn't in a hurry to head to the address given by Asama Santayu. Yoruha estimated that he could reach Asama Santayu within ten days. Asama Santayu and his group were set to depart in a month, so Yoruha only needed to arrive within that time frame.

On his first solo journey outside the village, Yoruha was fascinated by all sorts of things along the way. Whenever he came across a famous tourist spot, he would take the time to explore it. He was essentially treating this mission as a paid vacation.

Completing the mission was almost secondary. One day, Yoruha passed through a commercial town. This town was a tourist hotspot, especially famous for its hot springs. Naturally, Yoruha wouldn't miss out on this.

Standing at the town's entrance, he checked his wallet. It was still quite full. "Time to enjoy myself." Back in Konoha, Yoruha hadn't had the chance to visit a hot spring, so he wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by.

As Yoruha walked through the town, he didn't attract much attention. Because it was a tourist destination, there were not only ordinary people but also various types of ninjas. Yoruha blended in without standing out.

As he walked, Yoruha's stomach began to growl. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he muttered to himself, "Forget it, let's find a place to eat first."

He looked around and noticed a small tavern nearby. "I'm not old enough to drink yet. I wonder if I can go in." Even as a ninja, one had to be of age to drink alcohol.

Yoruha considered, "Should I use a transformation jutsu?" But he quickly dismissed the thought. "Forget it, I'll just go in and ask."

Without further hesitation, Yoruha headed towards the tavern. Inside, it was bustling with many patrons, and no one paid him any attention.

Approaching the counter, the owner, who was busy with the accounts, looked up and frowned slightly upon seeing Yoruha. "Young ninja, this is a tavern. You're not of age, are you?" Yoruha leaned on the counter and explained, "I'm not here to drink. Just some side dishes and rice will do." The tavern owner was momentarily surprised.

However, he didn't turn Yoruha away and nodded, "Alright, find an empty seat, and the food will be out soon." Yoruha was pleased with the arrangement and smiled, "Thank you." The owner smiled back, "It's no trouble at all, please go ahead."

After exchanging a few words with the owner, Yoruha made his way to the main hall. Standing at about 1.6 meters, he wasn't particularly tall, but not short either, so he didn't attract much attention.

As Yoruha searched for an empty seat, he passed by a private booth. The people inside looked familiar to him. He pondered, "Could that be Tsunade?"

Inside the booth sat a woman drinking, accompanied by a girl holding a pet pig. This combination, along with the blonde woman's extraordinary figure, was unmistakable. Even after being in this world for 12 years, Yoruha still remembered. However, he didn't go over to greet them.

If he had just arrived in this world, he might have been excited, like a fan meeting a celebrity. But after 12 years, that initial thrill had faded. "She really is beautiful, no wonder Jiraiya was so captivated by her. She's truly exceptional."

Even though Yoruha had no inappropriate thoughts about Tsunade, he had to admit she was stunning. Her perfect figure made it easy to forget her real age, which was over fifty. But it was just a fleeting thought. Yoruha glanced briefly before continuing to find a seat.

Once seated, Yoruha took out a notebook and began reading. It contained notes from Kakashi, detailing his experiences and insights from missions over the years.

Yoruha found it interesting, using it as a travelogue to pass the time during long journeys. What Yoruha didn't realize was that when he glanced at Tsunade, she had noticed him. After he sat down, she sipped her drink while observing him.

"Out on a mission alone? If that's the case, this kid must be a prodigy from Konoha," Tsunade mused. Her reasoning was that if Yoruha was on a solo mission, he had to be at least a Chunin.

In peaceful times, someone Yoruha's age being a Chunin meant the village trusted him enough to handle missions alone, marking him as a talented ninja. Tsunade's lips curled into a slight smile, "Shizune, it seems the village is doing well." Shizune, who was half-asleep, was startled by Tsunade's comment.

Once she processed it, she followed Tsunade's gaze and saw Yoruha reading not far away. "Maybe his Jonin leader will join him later?"

Tsunade shook her head, smiling, "Unlikely. Look at how engrossed he is in that book. Does he seem like he's waiting for someone?" Shizune nodded, "You're right. But I've never seen him before. Could he be a new talent the village is nurturing?"
