She knew what he was going to do; despite working for her, he was still a member of the creed. However, before he could strike Seraphina, she pulled both Cathan and the girl behind her, causing him to strike her and their eyes widened.
Nova froze as her blood spilled to the floor and her right-hand eyes widened and he immediately pulled back. She looked up at him as blood dripped from her lips and she fell to her knees.
"No, no, no!!!" Seraphina screamed out as she held her up and Cathan's face went pale. He did not know what to think or do at the time; all he could do was stare.
Despite their differences, her death was never something they wished for; they just wanted to cause damage to the creed, not to her, not in this way.
