Seraphina looked up first. "You two took your time. We've made some headway."
Nova forced a nod as he sat beside her. Kiros followed, eyes flicking to Nova, still watchful.
Alnira leaned forward, pushing a piece of parchment toward him. "There's a tie between one of the smaller noble families and the last known shipment of relics the Creed was moving just before the auction began taking place. The symbol matched one of the crests from the second gathering."
Nova's brows furrowed, scanning the drawing and the other papers before him; he did not like the fact that so many of them were just as guilty. "How subtle."
Dravon sighed. "The nobles are in deeper than we thought. They don't just fund the Creed; they are helping hide them. Using trade and diplomacy as a mask."
