Since then we have been sneaking off to train them as it is illegal for anyone without a trainer license to own a Pokemon.
The first thing I did was tell Kai and Nya to find what were their Pokémon's abilities since Deino only only had one ability that was Hustle. Which increases the power of physical moves in exchange for accuracy.
Charcadet's ability was flame body which made it so that when it made contact with anything there is a chance for it to get burned.
Nya's Froakie's ability was Protean which she found out because when it was low health its water moves were not stronger.
I then told Deion to show all the moves it could do as of now
Deino as of now can use:
'Tackle'
'Bite'
'Focus energy'
'Dragon breath'
'Head smash(most likelyegg move)'
The pre-evolutions of Hydreigon were considered bad for a pseudo legendary as they evolved extremely late even by their standards and even evolved into their second stage very late, they were blind and they were known for being extremely dangerous and very hard to tame.
Due to this Lance was the only one out of the Champions and Elite 4 across regions (apart from Iris) to possess a Hydreigon and even he evolved it early at around level 40 into Zweilous and 55 into Hydreigon.
I was shocked at this information as after some research I found that Pokemon can actually evolve as early as they want—just that they would be extremely weak as their body hadn't absorbed enough energy to be considered even average among the species.
Wild Hydreigons are extremely rare and their Tribe is known to be the strongest among Pseudo-Legendaries and can even compete with legendary tribes such as the Latios and Latias tribe.
I first decided to counter Deino most glaring weakness's—his(It's a dude) blindness.
Since they generally live in pitch darkness I decided to train its ears first to help detect where things would be.
I did this by first making him use focus energy before throwing branches at it to which he had to either deflect using dragon breath or dodge.
This trained 2 things at once and also gave me the opportunity exercise my stamina and sneaking as I had to constantly run around so he wouldn't get used to my pattern.
Unluckily I was only able to do this at about 2 hours a day at best so I told him to train its physical moves and its stamina in the mean time. I trained its stamina by making him run a lot as well as seeing how long he could use a move for and how many times he could use one.
I decided to train these aspects:
Stamina and endurance to tank hits as well as be able to battle for a long time.
Moves: 'Focus energy', 'Bite', 'Dragon breath" and 'Tackle'.
I decided to only train these as head smash can be very dangerous to train. I also am not planning to teach it any new moves until he gets used to the current ones.
Echolocation: It's a work in progress, but I'm confident he would be able to do a minor version of it in a month or 2. This would help him predict and dodge or defend where attacks are coming from.
Ability: He has to constantly activate it to utilize his attack boost properly and reduce the effects of inaccuracy though it won't have much of an effect since he's already blind.

For food I decided to buy some low quality poke blocks from the nearby market and pretend it was for someone else.
We 3 also decided to do a battle royale right once every month cause that's when we have the most time.
We gave ourselves a month to train our Pokemon the best we could before we to the battle.
Of course we had to be quiet about it as getting caught could potentially get us kicked out of the orphanage.
We also didn't talk to each other as much to not risk giving away information about our training in order to not give the other an advantage.

Not before long—the day had finally arrived.
We had picked a spot well over a few km(I'm not American…Deal with it) away from the orphanage so that no one could interrupt us.
We made a makeshift boundary using sticks and stones. The Pokemon helped as well and allowed us to check how each other's Pokemon looked.
We got in a triangle shaped formation inside the circle and started counting down.
"3"
"2"
"1"
"GO"
We instantly issued our commands and I guess my suspicion about them planning to team up on me was wasn't in vain.
"Charcadet, Use 'smog' on Deino"
"Froakie, 'water pulse' on Deino too"
They instantly exploited Deino's lack of vision by using ranged attacks. I was surprised though when I saw Froakie using water pulse but it was albeit very weak as it didn't have enough time to train it. The poisonous smog however would do more damage as it was neutral to Deino's typing.
I had a feeling they were gonna work together to get me out first since Deino had an adavantage against both of them.
Well jokes on them.
I'M gonna win.
"Quick Deino, use tackle towards your right to dodge the attacks then use focus energy."
Deino quickly responded by throwing its body towards the right and running a bit not get hit and used focus energy.
Nya was smart enough to realize what I was doing and quickly commanded Froakie, "Use 'water pulse' to disrupt it."
Kai wasn't lacking behind to told it to attack Deino as well,"Charcadet, use 'ember'. "
But by then it was too late Deino had already finished concentrating and was ready. "Deino dodge the 'water pulse' then use 'dragon breath' on the incoming 'ember'."
Deino quickly dodged the 'water pulse' by quickly dashing right then started charging up and unleashed a long stream of Draconic energy.
As the moves clashed it became obvious that the 'ember' would not be able to stand up to 'dragon breath' and was extinguished. It had just managed to hit Charcadet before Kai could command it to dodge and caused significant damage but not enough to render it useless.
It went flying off and it took a lot damage as it had generally bad base stats.
Nya wasn't just sitting around either and managed to score a water gun on Deino which didn't do much due to its part dragon typing.
While Kai's Charcadet was still recovering from the hit I decided to command Deino to charge Froakie, "ALRIGHT, now charge Froakie and use tackle to gain momentum then bite."
"Froakie, wait for it then use IT."
I didn't know if she could really counter Deino's momentum boosted 'Bite' but I didn't stop it anyway.
Just when Deino was within a meter of Froakie—he collected dark energy in its jaw to crush it and I saw that Froakie just getting ready to do something.
Right after it hit Froakie cried out in pain as Deino were renowned for their biting capabilities and proceeded to use COUNTER on Deino.

Deino also took some of damage in that exchange and backed of a bit and started panting lightly.
As counter wasn't mastered it wouldn't do double the damage received—just around 1.1x or 1.2x the damage the move does which wasn't much.
Charcadet then decided to charge at Deino at that exact moment and use astonish at it and Froakie hit it with 'pound' as well.
This dirty tactic did big damage to Deino and he was starting to get tired as well.
But then the weirdest thing happened.
"Quick Charcadet, use 'astonish' on Froakie while it's down."
This surprised me as it meant that Kai was actually thinking ahead to get some damage of Froakie, since one on one it would have a massive disadvantage as its type is weak to Froakie's.
However this meant that Nya was going to retaliate as well.
When astonish hit she commanded Froakie to use counter again which made the Charcadet finally faint but not without being on the brink of collapsing itself.
"Now end this battle with 'dragon breath'. "
While they had their squabble I had told Deino to supercharge 'dragon breath' which took some time but their fight was long enough for the move to be fully charged up to end the fight.
It was almost twice as wide(30 cm) and 1.5x faster than normal and I had started teaching Deino to supercharge moves when it had time in battle so it would do more damage .
Froakie was too tired to try and dodge and even if it was healthy, I doubt it would be able to dodge it.
It hit and Froakie collapsed as well.
I had finally won.
I first rushed to Deino and gave him a hug ,"You did an amazing job Deino—go take a rest for today." I then gave him a few poke blocks which he immediately gobbled up and bit my hand.
I hissed in pain and quickly drew back my hand and said,"Deino—you don't just bite the hand of the person that feeds you….otherwise you might not get any more pokeblocks."
"De…in…no" he whimpered which looked made him look too cute so I forgave him and told him to get some rest.
I quickly sent him away and turned to Kai and Nya.
"Well.Well.Well...looks like you 2 felt the need to team up on me in a simple sparring match—and still lost? Now let me be clear here—if you pull a stunt like that again your asses are gonna get pranked so much that your gonna be begging for mercy." I smiled smugly.
After each word they grew more and more angrier until their faces turned pale as they heard my threat of pranking as my old self had quite a rebellious streak on him and liked to prank people mercilessly.
"We're sorry—we won't do anything like that again" they said together which sounded creepy since they simultaneously said it word for word.
Ignoring their unbelieving glances at each other I sighed,"I'm sorry for threatening you guys like that. Let's just forget about this. Forgive and forget yea?"
They accepted my apology. Yipeeeeee
So for the day I got to lord over them and they couldn't do anything about it.
Now we were supposed to share strategies but we decided to do them next time we do one—which was in a month.

I ran through a deserted alley till I found 2 guards blocking a door. I quickly showed then my TR watch and they let me in.
"I need to talk to Executive Proton, when is he available?" I asked to his secretary.
"Oh you're that Elite Captain we sent Viridian forest for that smuggling operation right? He is not....pleased about the operation going wrong. Well anyway he wanted to ask you how the operation went wrong himself as the boss was really counting on those foreign Pokemon …especially the Charcadet."
"Just shut up and tell me when is HE available." I roared
She quickly changed her demeanor and stared at me like a demon would at their lunch."I would be careful if I was in your place. It would be such a shame if my crobat had 'accidentally' sliced you up. Now, we wouldn't want such an accident here now would we?"
I had sweat running down my neck as I had forgotten what a powerhouse she was and instantly apologized,"Wait I was just joking Ms.Secretary. Could you PLEASE tell me when is he available?"
She started laughing on the spot and said,"Now that's a good boy. He is available after 10 mins so get out of my sight now would you?"
I nodded my head and practically ran away from that she-devil. I swear I could hear cackling while I was doing so.
The 10 mins were up. I slowly walked to his room where I would most likely take the last few breaths of my life. I quickly steeled myself then opened the door.
I was met with the gruesome sight of my life—even though I was a team rocket member.
I saw him holding a severed arm in front of a person who was on his knees begging for mercy. Then he threw his arm away like it was nothing new and it rolled directly in front of me.
I resisted the urge to throw up as I forced my self to watch the man wailing—getting his legs slashed away then finally him getting dismembered on the spot.
He then turned to me and I felt his blood red eyes staring through the very fiber of my soul.
I steeled my self and told that a few police officers were patrolling the area where they waited for us to leave and freed all the Pokemon. I was a nervous reck trying to lie in front of him as I would be for sure executed on the spot worse than the previous victim if I had told him that a bunch of children did it instead.
He patiently listened to my each and every word until then the end where he promptly released an ultra ball and a Hypno appeared.
I didn't know what happened but the last thing I saw was it moving its string.
Then I was no more.
