Aristia slowly put her head back into the carriage. She was on the way to the Quentin Fief.
The Quentin Fief was neighbouring the Hemsworth Fief. It wouldn't take longer than two hours to arrive there.
It took a little more than an hour for the carriage to enter the Quentin Fief, and a few minutes to reach the Quentin Estate.
"Halt!" A lousy looking guard tried to stop their carriage.
[Huh? Why did the carriage stop?] Aristia thought and brought her head out of the window. Adeline also looked confused before her eyes narrowed silently.
Before she could ask Lucas who was controlling the carriage the reason why they were stopped, they heard a voice.
"What are you doing, you moron?! Can't you see it's the carriage of royalty?!" A more mature looking guard chided the ignorant guard before rushing to her carriage.
At his words a guard ran, probably to inform the household of the unexpected visitor.
