Kane looked at him and quickly corrected him, "He's our godfather."
"He's not my godfather," Railer pouted, clearly not agreeing.
"But we're triplets, so we should have the same godfather," Kane argued back.
"What are you doing here? You'll bring bad luck to my son again! Get out! Leave now!" Emelia suddenly shouted. She started pushing them, trying to force them out of the ward.
The three of them looked at each other. They realized her condition was worse than they thought, so they stepped aside.
Thankfully, the doctor came back with Xander just in time. He was conscious when they wheeled him in.
"You can't see him! Leave now!" Emelia shouted, twisting around in her wheelchair with such force that she nearly toppled over in her effort to make the kids leave.
Emelia's mind was blurry, but one thing stood out clearly, she believed Chantelle and the kids would bring bad luck to Xander. Someone must have planted that thought in her head.
