The Skeleton Giant Lizard is not exclusive to Skull Island; there are quite a few of them in the subterranean areas outside West City. Back in the day, it almost breached the city's walls due to a Beast Tide triggered by the Super Soaring Dragon.
The Swamp Giant Squid, too, is similar; they are found both in the ocean and certain swamps.
But the Solitary Reef Bull Demon is a rarity. Though it looks like a gigantic water buffalo and isn't very aggressive—timid, even—it is undeniably an exclusive species of Skull Island.
