Scene: Gojo's Secret Training Spot
Time: Late Afternoon
Yuji Itadori sat on a couch in an underground basement, in front of him was a Tv and in his arms was a Teddy doll wearing boxing gloves. In actuality however, it wasn't a doll but a Cursed Corpse used For Training beginners on how to properly maintain a steady output of Cursed Energy.
It had been a day since he died and was resurrected by The King Of Curses Sukuna.
Now, he was in the Midst of Training. How exactly?
Because while Immersed in the Movie on the screen, he had to keep a steady amount of Cursed Energy flowing into the Cursed Corpse at all Times.
If not, The sleeping doll would come to life and ...
BANG!
It happened then. The pink haired Protagonist was Punched in the Face by the doll wearing boxing gloves, flinging him to one side of the room.
"... Arghh! Come on!" The boy roared, brows furrowing in frustration. This was the Tenth time today.
"Hey, keep that Cursed Energy steady..."
Gojo, lounging not far away with his blindfold still in place, tilted his head and corrected, only to be drawn as his phone rang.
He pulled it out lazily and checked the caller ID: Reika San.
'Oh?'
He answered, a smile lighting up his face as he answered politely.
"Reika-san! What a rare call. And before you ask, No, I haven't forgotten our appointment. But wasn't that supposed to be at 5pm?"
A sigh came from the other end, followed by an exasperated but firm voice.
"Gojo-san, can we move up Ryota's arrival? Say, right now?"
Gojo's grin widened as he glanced at Yuji, who was still struggling to stabilize his energy. He chuckled.
"Oh? The problem Child?"
'Huh? Who is Gojo Sensei Talking to on the phone?' Yuji thought inwardly as he regained his bearings. 'Is it a New comer? A first year like me, Nobara and Megumi.'
"Yes, and don't call him that. He has ... problems, and I need you to help me fix them. Currently, he is way Too strong for me to handle, especially for situations like this ... I'll explain once we meet In person."
"I apologize. So basically, babysitting? Got it."
"I'm serious Gojo. My son is more difficult than you think ..."
"Relax, relax. No problem at all, I always love the idea of new Talented students. I'll be there in a few."
He hung up, then turned to Yuji who was half standing from his previous position.
"Alright Yuji, I have important matters to attend to so I'm gonna leave you on your own for a bit ..."
"Oh, is it a new student?"
"Yea, a New first year I didn't account For ..." The man said, his attention on his phone. "according to his Mom, he's quite strong. If all goes well, you'll be teammates in the Kyoto sister school Exchange Event. Best you get working on that Cursed corpse if you don't want to be the weakest in the Class. ..."
Yuji opened his mouth, then closed it begrudgingly before turning back to the cursed corpse hopping around with its boxing gloves, eyes Narrowing.
'Alright doll, game on.'
"Hehe..." Gojo laughed at the scene before Turning to Leave.
Reika-san could Teleport. He didn't want to arrive late. He thought, disappearing before Yuji could add another word.
----
Ryota's POV
Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School.
"I can't believe you really weren't Kidding."
Those were the only words that left my mouth as my dear, loving mother—who gave birth to me, raised me, and was supposed to cherish me—dragged me by the collar and tossed me, quite literally, in front of the entrance to Jujutsu High.
I landed gracefully, of course. The sight of the structures before Me leaving a pit in My stomach.
"The sooner you accept reality, The better off you will be My dear boy..."
Mom stood beside me, beaming with the pride of someone making the worst possible decision for their child.
"This is it! A fresh start!" she said cheerfully.
"Any chance we can still Talk this over?" I asked helplessly.
"My child, you lost any possibility after coming home naked and having your innocence seen by a man and Three cursed spirits ..." she replied sweetly.
'Note to self. Find whoever made the Statement 'The Truth shall set you free'... And set them on Fire.'
"That must be Quite the story." a voice that belonged to neither of us cut in at that Moment.
Turning our heads, I saw the man that would be my nightmare Teacher for the unknown period of my already miserable Future.
"Gojo-san ..."
"Reika San ..." Gojo Satoru greeted, hands in his pockets, his ever-present blindfold concealing his eyes. "So, you're my new student?"
He asked while secretly using his extraordinary perception, hidden behind those coverings to examine his new student.
'Hmm, he's just like she said. That deadpan face and unmotivated demeanor , he's a problem child alright. Fushiguro 2.0. From the looks of it, probably holds some resentment towards me, I can feel it in his eyes.'
The man thought, seeing My resentful expression.
Little did he know that for a brief moment, the Thought of Murdering him almost rooted itself in my mind.
'All will fade with Time I guess. On more important notes, I can't feel any Cursed Energy from him. Is it hidden, or is it a Heavenly Pact? Reika-San was never clear on the nature of his abilities. Is he just like Maki?'
"Yes, this is him. He's yours now ..." My mother—blessed with an unnatural amount of energy for a woman her age—clapped her hands together and smiled.
I sighed. "Mom, I am literally an adult. And I'm literally right here."
"And yet, you still don't have a girlfriend. Do you realize how embarrassing that is for me? Do you know how many aunties ask me why my handsome son is still single? They think there's something wrong with you!"
Ignoring me before I could say a word of protest, she turned back to Gojo and continued.
"He's my Major problem Gojo. He's strong, but he's antisocial and lazy! I'm enrolling him here because I want you to do three things!"
"Get him a social life. Make him less of a dead-eyed hermit. And most importantly—" she gripped Gojo by the collar, her eyes radiating pure motherly authority and sheer Maternal willpower— "find him a girlfriend."
"In short, Fix him,"
"Eh ... For real?.."
"For real."
Gojo blinked. She wasn't joking. Then he turned to me. "You poor thing. What did you do to deserve this?"
My face instantly turned dark as Murderous intentions bubbled under the surface once more.
'This is going to be a black stain on my history, most likely going to be used by this smug ass white haired guy against me in the Near and Far future.'
Gojo had a different thought process.
'I've seen many things. But a mother dropping her son at a school For Training monster hunters so he can socialize and get a Girlfriend .... That's a First. Sigh! Worst of all, I can see why. This kid looks even more lifeless than Megumi. No doubt I've got my work cut out for me on this one. However, if he's even half as Talented as Reika says, then It'll all be worth it.'
If a Mom could drop her son at an academy For Training Jujutsu Sorcerers, then she Must be confident in her son's abilities.
'I can't see his strength, however, he did inherit Reika-san's excellent genes From his appearance. Not too shabby looking, just a bit worse than me. This shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.'
He concluded. Seeing I didn't reply, his pensive expression changed to a Full on smile.
"A girlfriend huh? Oh well, kid, welcome to Jujutsu High. We've got death, curses, more death, and teenage drama. You'll fit right in."
"Wonderful." My mom beamed.
I stared at her. "You're literally dropping me off like a broken appliance."
Gojo grinned. "I like this already."
"I hate this already."
Mom ignored me. "Take care of him! And remember, he needs a girlfriend in six months, or he's getting married!"
Gojo howled with laughter. "Oh, this is gold! I accept the challenge!"
I grabbed his sleeve. My eyes practically screaming two words
Help Me!
"You don't have to accept anything. I can just—"
Gojo peeled my hand off like I was a misbehaving kitten. "Nope, nope! Your mom gave me full custody! I'm your new best friend-slash-wingman now!"
I shot him a deadpan
"Isn't there supposed to be an admissions Test or something?"
"Nah. Principal Yaga isn't in the school so that will have to wait Till next time. Besides, I've already Talked to him and he agreed ..."
I raised an eyebrow. "How?.."
"You can thank your Mother and your aunt Utahime for that. The Latter talked to the principal while he was at the sister school in Kyoto while the Former handled your admission papers. You're already considered half a student here."
"How long have you been planning this?..."
I asked.
"Two Months my dear ..."
"I hate this Family ..."
"Love you too ..." Mom patted my shoulder. "Be good, honey! I'll check in later! Remember, you have six Months. Or I'll arrange a Marriage with a stuckup daughter of a Sorcerer clan." And then—she teleported away.
I simply stared at Gojo, my face blank for a moment before raising My head upward, questioning all of existence.
'How I wish the goddamn Hogyoku hadn't Evolved her Cursed Technique to the level of Teleportation.'
"I suppose there's no way I can get out of this."
"Nope." Gojo smiled. "Now, as an unofficial student of My class, before we get you settled in, let's get you acquainted with some of your Future Peers."
He stopped to look at his watch
"It's not 5:00 yet. So the Second and First years should still be on their Training. I'm sure they'll be delighted to Meet you."
Somehow, I doubted that very Much.
