Cael's POV
Cael walked briskly down the polished marble floors of city hall, his mind was purposely blank, he had more important things to focus on than emotions. He gave three short knocks and entered the mayor's office.
The mayor stood quickly, tension and surprise all over his face at the impassive look on Cael's face.
"Mr Morgan… what a surpise." he said slightly nervously. "To what do we owe this pleasure?"
"Unfortunately, it is not pleasure that brought me here today, Mark." he said gravely as he politely extended his hands for a handshake.
Mark shook his hand and gestured for him to sit. "What is it? Did anyone reach your side of the woods again? Anyone harassing your… hmm… community?"
"Oh no, nothing like that. Thank you for your concern nut it is nothing like that. You know we know how to handle our issues."
Mark let out a breathe of relief, "Ok then, so what has your face so grave. You are scaring me a little."
