The wind blew dry, carrying dust and the sound of quiet crying in the distance
At the outer gate of the palace, Elliz stood with her arms crossed, her gaze cold and flat. In front of her, hundreds of refugees began to enter, their faces pale, their bodies tired and dirty
"What the hell?" muttered Elliz in a displeased tone. "Refugees... where did they come from?"
Beside her, Logos stood calmly, uprightly analyzing the refugees, "They're from a destroyed village," he replied as he raised one hand. A holographic map appeared, showing a red line curving like a tsunami wave sweeping across the western region, "This attack is big. The line of impact is clear. The location is from the territory of the former Hero Kingdom... that you just conquered"
Elliz frowned. Her eyes zeroed in on the point of destruction. "Ehh... that village... well, it's not my fault, it was clearly the hero's attack"
But suddenly her gaze changed
From the crowd, there was one distinct face
One teenage girl, dirty and dusty, her eyes blank, Not crying, not speaking, Just staring at the ground with the still bleeding wound on her arm, "That one..." Elliz's voice softened, almost a whisper, "...seemed more somber"
Logos turned his gaze towards the girl. He did a quick analysis, "The village was completely destroyed. From the emotional and biological data... it looks like she's the only survivor"
Elliz stared in silence for a moment, then she turned around. "Well, just give them a place. It's nice to have a new slave."
She stepped away, but not far, she glanced at Logos, "And where have you been all this time?"
Logos lowered his head slightly. "Mother told me to get to know the world. So I traveled around... from the mountain regions, to the borders, to the ports in the east"
Elliz nodded slowly, "...That fast? Hopefully there won't be any problems... while I sleep."
Suddenly, there was a sharp cry
"DEATH!!!"
A black-robed person darted from the crowd, a sword hidden under the cloak, ready to slash Elliz's neck from behind.
But before the blade could get close...
BANG!
A magic bullet shot out from Logos' finger, piercing the attacker's head and making him fall with a loud noise. Blood spurted onto the stone floor.
Elliz turned her head flat, staring at the now shapeless corpse, "...Damn it. What's wrong with him?"
Logos examined the remaining magic energy from the body. "From my analysis...he holds a strong grudge, The source is still vague, but his emotions clearly hate you, but...he's not dead, it seems he's immortal"
Elliz let out a short breath, "Grudge? Wait, immortal? I'm sure I've always killed my enemies without a trace...but immortal...well that's beside the point, maybe only the perverted cultists manage to be immortal and have a grudge against me"
She shrugged. "Yeah... whatever. Just tie it up and bring it to the lab, a little research won't hurt immortality."
Logos nodded and signaled the guards to clear the site
After watching over the refugees, Elliz only snorted softly. The look in her eyes showed no sympathy, only calculation, "Well, enough of the spectacle. Now comes the fun part."
She entered her room a luxurious room filled with sparkles, the door closed and locked behind her. She sat on her couch, her legs crossed.
"Book of Knowledge, active."
Instantly, the world went silent. Like a black hole of knowledge opened up in her brain. Visuals appeared in the air, containing millions of neatly organized data in ancient and modern languages at once, "Hm... let's start with something light. That goddess for example."
'Identity of the last divine being consumed'
Narayla, Lesser Goddess of Knowledge. Her duty is to guard the archives of divine history and maintain the boundary between ignorance and wisdom
Elliz raised one eyebrow, "Goddess of Knowledge? What kind of joke is this... She doesn't even know how to construct a proper illusion. Hah! I might just be too much of a genius." She laughed slightly, proudly.
She shifted focus, wondering what to do with the material information 'The strongest mineral surpassing Zerium.'
Data appeared
Aetherion, Dimensional mineral, able to coat space and resist any magical influence.
Vexilite, Parasitic crystal with the ability to absorb magic and strengthen the user during conflict.
Nullphase Ore, An anomalous mineral, born between the folds of time and dead dimensions. Indestructible by magic, absorbs and erases any trace of energy that hits it.
Effect: Nullification
Elliz's eyes lit up, "Nullphase... this is perfect."
She immediately use the Book of Knowledge to display the Creation Process of Nullphase Ore.
Creation Process of Nullphase naturally
1. Freeze a small space with a temperature below absolute existence using Chrono Stabilize
2. Add cracked dimensional crystals (obtained from void debris)
3. Catalyst: fragments of the soul of a supreme being
4. Let time run in reverse for 30 seconds in a sealed area
5. Result, 1 gram of Nullphase Ore
Elliz had a flat face, "Pretty...crazy...but what the hell is this process? I'm not sure if my Material Genesis is capable of creating something like this" Elliz began to think maybe Vexilite is more useful for now which is a pure mirthil process that is evolved with excessive dark energy, which is in the territory of the demon king but it takes 1000 years just to produce per gram.
Elliz began to focus her mind using Material Genesis, a light appeared in her hand and formed Vexilite, a black hard stone with red cracks, the stone exuded a dark aura, "My Vexilite, the process is quite draining even with the essence of the 3 supreme beings, well it's quite logical for a 1000 year process."
Without thinking, she took an ordinary magic gun and fired a Magic bullet at the Vexilite. The result was surprising the shot was absorbed and the red cracks grew brighter
Elliz looked satisfied. "Perfect. Not just hard... this, is quite useful if it is used as a shield for my Airship project", she smiled with pride.
After successfully creating Vexilite, her fingers tapped the arms of the chair slowly, "That illusion... when I fought Naralya. Was it all fake? Or... is there something deeper?"
She closed her eyes. In an instant, she sank into a vacuum. Empty, silent, dark. But he knew... this was no illusion. This was her own voidspace, the space between mind and soul. A place where the truth could be accessed... if only she was brave enough
She took a step. There was no sound of steps, glass like floor of water reflecting her
Suddenly, before her... stood a woman.
Dark brown hair, sharp yet gentle eyes, wearing a familiar white coat. It was as if time had not touched her.
Reine Marcyson, Former surgeon of an elite German hospital, medical genius from the Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg, then moved to London and... met father.
Elliz stood still. Her gaze was blank but her eyes... held a small pulse of hope, "Hmm... what a talent. It's a pity she had to meet dad," Elliz muttered while looking down.
She stared at the figure. Not speaking. Not moving. Not breathing. Just a silent existence of memory, "Where is she now...? If I am reincarnated... is she too?"
She raised her hand, and a smoke screen formed in front of him, like a transparent mirror that answered requests.
The smoke trembled, coagulating. Then it displayed a single sentence that struck her heart
"Reine is here. In this world"
"In... this world?" whispered Elliz, her pupils shrinking.
The location came into view, a luminous place... too bright... too peaceful. The name of the place appeared in a faint accent
HEAVEN
"Heaven... Heaven, huh?" A slow smile appeared on her lips, but her eyes were reddened. The emotion that she had been slaughtering inside her for a long time, slipped out slowly, "Good... I'll see you, Mother"
But before she could bring her hand to the smoke screen, her chest throbbed. Her head felt like it was being squeezed by the dimension itself. A flash of light cut through the space, "Ughh!!!! WHAT IS THIS?!?!"
The pain was... not like magic. It's not an ordinary disturbance. This was... existence pressure. The screen suddenly displayed a single glimpse of a tall, luminous entity, imperceptible to the human eye. In a split second, his name was printed in an ancient font
"LORD OF HEAVEN"
Elliz immediately closed her vision, her body staggering. Her breath caught. Cold sweat flowed, "...What... what was that...?!" she whispered softly.
She stood up slowly, staring at the empty space that was now silent again.
"'Lord'... so there's an entity above all heavenly beings over there? But... I just want to see my mom" She laughed wryly, cynically to herself, "Relax... my intentions are good. I just want to... see mom. There's no reason for... trouble, is there? Right?"
But behind that, her mind began to spin at a murderous pace, If the 'Lord of Heaven' really exists... and guards the heavens... then the only way to meet him is... "Rebellion the heavens"
She grinned.
But even after all that information, after the screen disappeared and the entity called the Lord of Heaven vanished in a blast of light... there was one sentence that kept hanging in her mind, nibbling at the edge of her logic
"The gods will not remain silent."
Naralya's words during their battle. The words now felt more like a warning... or a curse, "So who... is next?"
Elliz turned on the Book of Knowledge again, this time without restrictions. Her mind instantly connected to the mind of that world, hacking through the seals of mythology, penetrating the divine layers like a scalpel through brain tissue
A figure emerged from the sea of data of a man, dressed like an ancient nobleman, a black elegant suit with silver embroidery, neatly styled white hair and a mechanical clock ticking in his left eye.
His name appeared...
Qyn "Deity of Time", the god of time.
Elliz swallowed, Unconscious, But still tried to think, "Where is he now?"
The screen gave a one word answer that made her blood flow frozen
He is already here
"...What?". She immediately unplugged the connection. Her body bounced out of the consciousness space, waking up in the real world with a gasp.
Her hand automatically grabbed her sword, instinct hunting her.
She stood up quickly and ran outside. Room after room passed by, until she reached the center of the city.
And everything... stopped.
The sky stood still. Fallen leaves frozen in the air. The laughing children were stiff as statues. Even the wind seemed not to be allowed to breathe.
Time... stopped.
Shoe steps hit the ground.
Slow, orderly, authoritative.
The figure emerged from the main street not from a portal, not from magic as if it had been there all along.
Qyn
His gaze was not hateful, nor was it emotional. It was just... certain.
"What a troublesome enemy," he said lightly, "I've read the future. You were going to do this... so I came early, before you knew where I was."
However, Elliz's crimson eyes were still slowly moving, looking at him. Little by little, her pupils focused, sharpening like a predator.
Qyn was silent for a moment. His expression was... slightly astonished "Huh. Naturally, I guess... for someone who has absorbed the essence of a high entity..."
He stared at Elliz like a phenomenon that shouldn't exist, "Strange. You should already be dead. But somehow... you're still alive."
Elliz did not reply. She knew Qyn was judging. Looking for an opening.
Suddenly, time went back.
The air blows again. Babies cried. Birds chirped. People were shocked to see Elliz standing in the center of the city with her sword drawn.
Then everything froze again...instantly.
"The rules of this world are annoying," Qyn said, as if reading a script he hated, "So many restrictions and rules on this existence..."
He raised his hand. The clock in his eyes ticked backwards, "So... I'm going to teleport you to my own realm."
The air split, The sky blackened, A time spiral rift opened right behind Elliz, like a dimensional vortex, "To make your extermination... easy."
The world shook and then fell silent. Sounds, colors, even the beat of breath, all vanished. Elliz found herself standing in the center of an unfamiliar world: a temporal dimension.
The white concrete floor was dimly lit, merging with the pillars that seemed to support the infinite sky, where the lines of time flowed like a luminous river. Behind it, thousands of time trajectories overtook each other, split, repeated, or disappeared in absurd waves that could not be explained by human logic.
Elliz could not move. Her body was frozen, as if it was museumed by the absolute laws of the Time God.
But her mind was still running fast, "This... is the realm. This is the world of time itself"
Qyn walked with calm steps around her, Each step creating a ripple of time, His face was like a master painter about to finish his last painting, "This will be the end of your story..." His voice was smooth yet stressful
In his hand, a strange sword began to take shape, composed of floating pieces like a puzzle that kept assembling itself. It glowed with ever changing chromatic colors. Temporal Sword, "With this, your past will be erased... all paths of your destiny will be annihilated. You will return to a void, a void that even history is reluctant to remember..."
Qyn raised his sword.
In Elliz's mind, "Come on... do something... something... SHIT!"
In Consciousness...Core Essence
Within her subconscious, the entities within her were shaken up
Astaros, the Dragon King was still bound by red chains symbolizing that Elliz's body was not ready to fully merge with the ancient dragon's power, "What's going on out there... why... why is everything burning!?"
One by one the other entities turned into ashes, Goddess Amalthea, Demon King Kaizer, Naralya, all of them perished in the flames without a source. This fire was not heat but the burning of existence, Astaros began to crumble, "NO!!! NOO!! RELEASE ME! ELLIZ!!!"
Just before he disappeared, their energy shot out from inside Elliz's body, creating a giant crack in the time dimension.
The crack tore through reality,
Time began to run again
Qyn was shocked and jumped back. The essence that came out defied all the laws he knew, "This... shouldn't be possible..."
Elliz fell down, coughed up blood, and vomited. Her body convulsed. But she could not stop. Her cells were burned due to the forced assimilation of the power of the entities. Even her bones were cracked, However...She stood up.
Trembling, Her body shook violently, her bones crunched. But with one hand, she drew her sword, "Why is your face like that? Everything doesn't go according to your plan? That's funny." She smiled a thin, bloody, yet sharp smile
Qyn stared at her. Disbelief finally cracked his calm face, "You... play with things even the gods do not touch"
"Heh... do I care about the meaning of risk?" Elliz raised her sword, strength collapsing from her shoulders, yet her eyes blazed with challenge, "Come... Fight. I don't have much time."
The sky above them was like an endless dome, and time flowed again, solidifying, melting, then turning back like a world suddenly confused about its own existence.
And in the midst of that chaos...
The battle begins
Elliz shot out first, her body half shivering from the adaptation process that was still not completed, her muscles burning, her eyes blood-red, and her breathing rough, "Just one strike from him, and I'm done. Must be quick, Gotta finish this right now"
She swung her sword, cleaving the air, but Qyn lightly dodged, even before the attack was complete, "Damn it... he keeps reading the direction of my attacks!" Elliz said with an annoyed face
Qyn smiled wryly, floating in the air like a king on his throne, "Next, you're going to try creating a new skill, right?"
Hearing that, Elliz instantly darted backwards, creating as much distance as possible, Her body staggered, Her knees trembled, "Hahh...hahh... There's really no soft side for a girl like me?"
Qyn walked slowly, his shadowy body seemed to bend time itself, "i don't even count you as a girl... so don't be proud"
And without warning, Qyn struck again, fast, precise, and almost inhuman.
Elliz dodged, spinning, sliding, almost crawling, while gritting her teeth, "Gotta find a way! Something! ISN'T THERE SOMETHING HERE!?"
In the midst of the chaos, the Book of Knowledge, the pages appearing in her mind opened to a page full of diagrams of time trajectories and fractions, "This realm is filled with timelines... which means... everything is connected to Qyn, If I can shake one of them, he will definitely be caught off guard!"
Elliz started to form a new skill but Qyn shot out as fast as lightning, slashing at the direction of the magic, "I'm sorry... but I won't let that happen."
Elliz backed away, blood dripping from her forehead. She thought quickly, "Which timeline can I disrupt... how can I make him give me distance... even if it's just for a second..."
She slid forward with a wide slash then Qyn backed away slightly, his reflexes perfect. And in that moment Elliz saw something, a flash of possibility in the timeline, "Time... timeline... possibility... how...?"
Between attack and evasion, Elliz thought about striking back. But... she hesitated, and changed her mind
Strangely, Qyn immediately prepared to parry, even though the attack never happened, "He's ready to parry an attack... when I was just thinking of attacking...?"
Elliz's eyes narrowed, "Parry... change your mind...?"
Qyn squinted. His voice was cold, "You thought of something that made me... upset"
Elliz tried again the Dark Slasher, a slashing attack of darkness. But in the middle of it, she changed her mind and retreated.
Qyn immediately alerted and then... fell silent. His face was annoyed, "WHAT IS IT!? Don't tell me you..."
"Ah... so I see", Elliz smiled for the first time since the battle started, blood flowing from her lips, "The timeline is formed from decisions and choices...! If there are two possibilities at the same time, even the Time God will be a little shaken...I just have to think outside the box!"
Qyn's face slowly turned serious. He snapped his fingers, Behind him, a giant golden clock appeared, full of fast spinning serrations. Seconds moved both ways, and time distorted around it, "You're taking me seriously... this is why I hate you so much!"
The battle changes
Qyn's speed increased, but Elliz remained calm, every second now filled with sudden decisions, "Side attack!" Qyn dodged to the left, "Turn into a stab!"
Qyn parried, a split second too late.
Elliz's movements became unpredictable, she used the anti timeline strategy instead of attacking, but made Qyn have to choose, every choice meant an opening.
Qyn began to feel the pressure, "You... use uncertainty as a weapon..."
Uncertainty... One word, one principle and the strongest weapon against the forces that believe everything can be read
Elliz smiled a little amidst her heavy breathing, "Uncertainty will cause a delay response that depends on every possibility ahead... meaning, creating many options is the best course of action!"
Without a word, she darted forward.
Strange attacks began to appear random movements that were never completed, steps that changed direction at the last second, and swings that were canceled. It was all like a confusing, unpredictable dance of paralysis.
Qyn gritted his teeth, frustrated, "Stop dancing like the undead! Attack or die!"
But Elliz just stared at him, her eyes showing no anger only strategy
Then, one moment came
A magic gun appeared in Elliz's hand, elegant, dark, and glittering like obsidian. Qyn immediately fell silent
Teleportation? Then he could get into the magic trap
Get closer? He would be shot at an effective range
Waiting? Too risky
Qyn chose to dodge and that's when...
"Qyn..." Elliz said softly, a smile etched on her pale face, "Thank you for this distance."
Her hand raised into the air, a new skill was created 'Temporal Scramble'
The timeline collapsed instantly, like a tangled ribbon dragged into a typhoon, The entire space began to crackle like glass, and the air cracked, displaying shards of reality illustrating how dangerous this technique was in the Realm of Time God.
Qyn held his head, his body trembling, "ugg...UGHAAAAHH!!!" He vomited, blood and energy flowing from his mouth
"Ewww... you seriously threw up?" Elliz sneered.
Anger instantly erupted.
Qyn raised a hand as portal after portal opened, revealing variants of himself from other timelines, fast, brutal, calm, bloodthirsty versions of Qyn, "You can't fight this, Elliz...One can challenge you, but ten... is death."
A chaotic battle ensued, Elliz continued to dance on the edge of death, her body being forcefully pulled to age, yet she fought back with the Amalthea Essence she absorbed, restoring and renewing her cells
Slash after slash not to kill, but to shake the enemy's timeline
Qyn had a nosebleed, his eyes reddened, his pupils cracked like mirrors, "STOP... STOP MAKING THAT CRAZY CHOICE!!!"
But Elliz had already opened the Book of Knowledge once again...A new skill was created 'Chrono Shatter', a time-breaking attack. But...
Suddenly her body collapsed, her ears bled, her muscles locked up, her breath began to hitch, "Damn... Just... a little more..."
Qyn looked at her, laughing softly, voice low with hatred and satisfaction, "Your time is up, lady. You can't fight time. Finally... I can finally prove to that bastard that I... I WON THIS TIME!"
Elliz tried to get up, her body trembling, blood dripping from her chin, but she stood up like a shadow of her former self.
Qyn approached, his nose still bleeding, but his expression full of malice, "You bitch... why are you ALWAYS unreadable!? YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY!"
With one vengeful kick, he smashed Elliz's head. Elliz's body was thrown and collapsed the giant pillar, dust and debris flew out.
Elliz tried to get up. Her body shook violently, her muscles felt like ropes being pulled apart. But before she could straighten her knees, two Qyn kicked her from two directions
"Guh-!" Her head hit the ground. Her body bounced, then was hit by a giant piece of debris that was thrown mercilessly. The sound of breaking bones rang out, but it was never accompanied by a scream.
The regeneration continued to work, hating Elliz's existence as much as the world hated the rejection of death
Qyn stared with a cold face full of anger. One step, two steps, then he crouched down. His hands gripped Elliz's blood soaked hair, then lifted her up like a carcass
"...You," he hissed, furious.
"It feels like erasure is not enough for you. This torture... might make you realize who you're fighting"
BRAK!!!
A fist landed on Elliz's face, Blood spurted out, But the eyes remained open, Not fighting back, not giving up
"It should be-"
BUK!
"There is no-"
DUGH!
"You...!"
Fist after fist slammed into Elliz's face until the cracks formed a pattern like nerves in glass. But... she remained conscious. Her teeth were chattering, her lips were torn, but the mind had not been shattered....
"Do something..." Elliz whispered to herself, "Move... just one... finger..."
Suddenly she fell silent, not resisting, instead letting her blood rush to the ground. Flowing... pooling... forming a circuit until the moment a small lightning bolt struck "...Thunderbolt..."
ZAAKTT!!!
The electric shock flowing from the pool of blood struck Qyn's palm holding her hair, Qyn's body convulsed, "ARGH?!"
Elliz's heart beat abnormally hard, her breathing was short and dangerous. Suddenly, like a hungry animal, she bit Qyn's arm
CRUNCH!
Flesh ripped off, bones sticking out as she dragged her jaws like a wild wolf tearing into a carcass, the other Qyn behind them were stunned in horror, "...What the hell...?"
Blood spurted from the arm, but Elliz did not stop. She looked up, then bit the Qyn's neck, faltering, breaking off, the cracking of bones sounded along with a scream of horror, "AAAKKHH!!! IT HURTS!!! LET GO!!"
Too late....The body collapsed, dead. Elliz gripped it tightly, then began to absorb the essence of the Qyn that had just died. The sound of the body melted into her like dew absorbed by arid sand.
Her mana returned
Her body recovered
But that wasn't what made the Qyn tremble
Those eyes, one burning red, the other losing its stable form. There was no logic left, only madness.
Qyn fell silent trembling, "Damn... she... has gone mad"
Elliz slowly stood up, her muscles still spasming as the incompatible time essence began to infect her body. The fingers moved randomly, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, her body had to adapt to the time energy she swallowed by herself
But her gaze... was already not human like.
"...This fight," Qyn muttered, enduring the chill that ran through his bones, "will be a wild fight... until only one of us remains."
The Qyn duplicates moved at once, hurtling like shadows in all directions, Air cut off, Space shaking, Their goal was only one...to destroy Elliz before she could breathe....
But...
"Chrono Shatter" Elliz's voice was calm, but the times answered with a scream of panic, Time... shattered
Cracks like broken mirrors spread through the air, forming strange paths that made each Qyn move in a different timeline, some fast, some slow, some... silent, all chaotic
Elliz moved like a demon, she immediately slaughtered the Qyn one by one not elegantly, but brutally
Her left hand grasped the hair of one Qyn, pulled him to the ground and bit his throat like a wild animal, Another one tried to attack from behind but Elliz's sword appeared like a shadow, slashing his stomach until his intestines spilled out
Three Qyn charged from the right, but Elliz jumped, landed on one of their backs, and clawed its face to shreds, then swung her sword through the bodies of the other two.
The sounds of tearing flesh, breaking bones, and spurting blood blended into a symphony of death amidst the chaos of time.
The Realm began to crumble, Pillars of time collapsed one after another, The giant clock above shattered, Dimensions rumbled in slow, unstoppable destruction
One remained...the main Qyn, she stood with a trembling body, staring at all her duplicates having been slaughtered and absorbed alive
Elliz's aura was now like a predator that could not be explained by human logic, she walked slowly forward. Her gaze was blank... yet full of murderous intent.
Qyn backed away, step by step, "This... this is not human...! This is wrong. This is wrong!
Desperate, Qyn tried everything, Stopping time...failed, Forcing aging on Elliz...failed, Reading the future failed, Even his left eye which was a clock cracked and then exploded
Without giving Elliz any time, she ran and her sword slammed right into Qyn's chest, piercing his back.
Qyn screeched, stabbing Elliz's body repeatedly, stomach, neck, shoulders but there was no reaction as if she didn't care about anything. Elliz did not stop. Not whimpering, not faltering, her wounds continued to heal, not even blinking her eyes.
Elliz pulled out her sword, then grabbed Qyn's head and slammed him repeatedly to the floor
BOOGH!!! CRRAK!! CRAAASH!!!
Blood spurted, flooding the floor, soaking Elliz's face
Qyn struggled, grasping Elliz's arm, trying to stop her but Elliz brushed him off and cut off his arm, turning Qyn's scream into a terrified scream.
Then Elliz began to stab Qyn's body repeatedly and relentlessly, like an extermination machine
Finally, with one brutal stomp on the chest, Qyn's sternum shattered completely forming a gaping hole in the center of his body. Qyn gasped, blood pouring out of his mouth
Elliz raised her magic gun,
Staring at Qyn's shaking head
BANGG!!!
Qyn's head exploded, leaving a splash of blood and shards of essence
Blood still flowing from the cracks of the broken time floor, Qyn's corpse was no longer recognizable... crushed, torn, pierced, and left to rot in silence. Elliz stood up, her eyes glowing red with predatory pupils, her breathing regular... yet full of rage
Her hand slowly stretched out. The Qyn essence that remained after the brutal massacre flowed like red mana into her body, her mana sizzled, her strength returned.
But just when that energy was fully fused...
Applause, slow, but clear, "Brutal, fast, and very entertaining..."
Reflexively, a magic gun was fired towards the voice behind her
Clang!
A card... deflected the bullet.
"Whoa, whoa!! Calm down, lady!" His voice was light, almost annoying, "I'm not here for anything bad~ Just relax..."
From behind the fog stood a man dressed as a circus clown, complete with a crimson colored suit, shiny long shoes, and a gold crown tilted on his head, his face adorned with a smile too wide to be called friendly
Elliz raised the gun again, "Who? "
The figure made a slight respectful gesture like a theater performer, "You can guess right?"
Elliz immediately opened the Book of Knowledge and found his name, her eyes narrowed, "God of... Game?"
The wide smile on the clown's face grew even crazier, "ding dong!~, that's right! You're a fast learner. Call me... Javhael, the Master of Play! The Joker! The God of Clowns! The-!! ...nevermind, too long" He said proudly while raising both hands and bead firecrackers scattered as a self introduction decoration.
Elliz growled lowly, "What do you want?"
Javhael raised both hands, still playfully, "I told you... help"
"What kind of lie is this again...helping what? Times are already chaotic so what can you do?" But something made him shut up, the Book of Knowledge doesn't detect lies, that's impossible.
Javhael walked slowly while tossing a card in his right hand, "You're very serious, This world... is too strong even for gods, The only thing that is destroyed is this timeline. Trust me, the time in the world will... revive itself, Shhh~~ little secret... The world is bigger than you think"
"Don't say bullshit" Elliz didn't lower her gun.
Javhael laughed lightly like he was watching a play, "Bullshit?! Dear Elliz, that world you call Earth... is not even bigger than a single cell in this world's body"
Elliz stiffened "What?"
"I repeat myself, right? Earth...where you came from...is much smaller than the Sun, but this world...is much bigger than the Sun itself, On a cosmic scale, the place you used to be is just dust"
Silence...for the first time, Elliz was silent
"And that's why... the gods who wanted to eliminate you had to pull you into their personal realm, This world is too big, Too... locked, Even we had to sneak around, avoiding the attention of higher entities, We couldn't kill you in the immediate 'world'. But here... yes, they tried" Javhael said in an annoying tone.
Elliz finally lowered the gun slightly, still suspicious, "You said you wanted to help. What do you want in return?"
Javhael's smile widened for the first time, his expression becoming more and more unreadable, "Help me win this game"
"Game?" asked Elliz in confusion
"Well... call it a bet between Gods, A bet about you, Some want you destroyed, Some bet you'll rise higher" He winked, "And I... bet that you'll be the most beautiful monster this world has ever seen~"
Elliz looked at him intently, The world is recovering, Time is turning, But one thing is for sure Javhael is no ordinary foe and his help, will come at a price that is... unusual as well
But there was something that raised a question in her mind "You bet?" Elliz asked with confusion
"Yes! Qyn and I made a bet about you! He was sure you would die!" Javheal jumped in excitement like a child, "And I said... you would live! And look! I won! Over and over again! Every time he said 'Elliz will lose', I laughed! Laughing!"
Elliz stared at her in silence. "So... he lost the bet because I lived?"
"Exactly!" Javheal snapped his fingers and an illusion of Qyn's annoyed face appeared, "Look at his expression! Priceless! He even accused me of cheating, saying I used Extreme Luck, but you know what? I didn't even turn that skill ON!"
He jumped up like an annoyed but proud clown, "I AM A HONEST MAN! And he slandered me! What a coward!"
"...So I didn't survive because of your luck," Elliz muttered softly
"That's right! You're alive because... you're invincible, my instincts tell me that!" Javheal pointed at himself proudly, "That's what destroyed Qyn's ego! Not only you, but because I always humiliated him!"
Suddenly...
CRRRAK!
The sky seemed to shatter, The glass cracks formed a vortex, and from it... emerged a girl with bright pink hair, with a heart shaped tuft and a cute doll like dress, Her pupils... were in the shape of pulsating red hearts
"JAVHEAL!!! Where's the promise you gave me!?" her voice was sweet... yet filled with terror.
Javheal turned around and immediately hid behind Elliz, "GYAA!!! Help me, this bitch is crazy!"
Elliz only muttered, "Who else would this be..."
Awkwardly, Javheal held up two fingers, "Uhh... she's... the Goddess of Love... Her name is, uhh... Luvienna, We had a bet back then... I promised to give her something INTERESTING!, and I haven't paid yet... hehe..."
The goddess approached, her gaze scanning Elliz enthusiastically, "Beautiful face... ideal body... sharp eyes... dominant aura..." Her lips curved, "Is this what you promised, Javheal?"
Javheal nodded like a schoolboy, "Yes! Yes! Isn't she attractive?! More than enough, right?"
Luvienna's eyes lit up. She came closer to Elliz, very close, "You're... attractive...~" she whispered in a flirtatious tone.
Elliz paused, "Uhh... What...?"
Luvienna smiled brightly, "I like her, she's mine now"
