Flain stood there blankly for a moment before the light returned to his eyes and he shook his head.
"What just happened?" he mumbled drowsily.
Then reality hit him, and he stepped back in fear, looking around for the book and the chest, but there was nothing anywhere. Flain sighed in relief and thought that maybe he had imagined it, or it had been a hallucination from exhaustion.
Flain returned to mining, but suddenly he noticed something was different. Something in his mind had changed — something that shouldn't have been there.
Flain focused on that feeling, and suddenly the same book appeared in front of him, except now it seemed to be made of light blue aura.
Flain flinched again and stepped back, although it wasn't as scary now since he was slowly getting used to these paranormal things.
