There was a great Saint in Mahaara. His name was Eknath. He loved every one. He never lost his temper.
One day, he was praying and one person came and sat on his lap. Eknath was happy and said, "Oh! I am so happy because of your love."
After that, in the afternoon when Eknath was taking his lunch he served some food for that person also. When Eknath's wife came to him, the man climbed on her back. Very lovingly Eknath told his wife, "Please assure that our brother does not fall from your back."
His wife said, "No, don't you worry. I have got much experience by carrying our son on my back when he was a child."
The person fell at Eknath's feet, ashamed and said, "Sire, please forgive me a hundred rupees if I make you angry. That' why I did it. I feel very bad for what I did to you."
Eknath lovingly picked him up and said, Leave all that. Come, let's eat our food."
