In Ironhelm Gael and a few of his men are staring at Daniel. Daniel is tied up, and he is looking at them with anger, Gael then kneels down. "Tell me Daniel, why would someone as dirty as you touch my John? You know how special he is to me so this must be some way for you to mess with me." Gael asks him.
Daniel tries to move, and Gael can see that he isn't scared of him. Gael then gets up, and kicks Daniel in the face, Daniel can't do anything as he is tied up neatly. "This is the best thing that has happened to us recently." Gale says as he turns to his men.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot." Gael turns to Daniel once more. "Do you know we're Ashly is hiding? We couldn't reach his friend as he was in a different district as we saw in the news." He asks and Daniel looks at him with confusion.
"I mean it's no coincidence that she disappeared as soon as you left as well. How could it be? You two have caused me trouble so it has to be." Gael says as he kicks Daniel in the face again.
Daniel tries to move and squirm. "Don't move as you're making noise, I'm trying to think." Gael says, and Daniel looks up to see Gael's gun pointed directly at him.
"Oh I know sir, why not write a proposal to the Lurkers right now? We can use Daniel as a bargaining chip for us to ease off some tensions." One of them men says out loud.
"I was already planing on doing that you idiot, but you're right, I need to write that now. Alright one of you write this down , we captured Daniel. He was responsible for the death of twelve of your men, he also went rouge before he did this. We would of tried to avoid as much trouble if we knew earlier. Daniel did that for no reason so now we have him, and we want to bargain with you." Gael says as he walks around, one of the men began to write it all down quickly.
After a bit Gael continues. "He had another accomplice that we haven't captured yet, but we are working on it. We can all relax now, and ease our current circumstances. We will hand Daniel to your care as a gift to show you all we weren't part of this. You all can torture him as much as you like as he will be yours to use."
Daniel shakes again and one of the men get up to Daniel's face, and removes soemthing from his mouth. Daniel gasps for air. "You can all go to hell, and I'm not scared of anyone of you. I'm sad I couldn't accidentally lose John, it would of been satisfying." He says and he giggles a bit.
Gael is angry and he pulls out John, and cuts Daniel in the face. It's a superficial cut. "Shut up, and be quiet while you wait for death." He says as he puts his knife near Daniel's throat.
Daniel begins to bleed, but he isn't scared. "You are going to regret ever putting your hands on me. They day you die will be my happiest, I will celebrate for days when it happens." Daniel says.
The men begin to approach Daniel, but Gael puts one of his hands up. "Don't approach him, let him talk his nonsense. This gives his an illusion of reassurance until it's too late, and he figures out he is in danger. Oh right, continue writing." He says as he looks at the man with the paper.
"Daniel will be a showing of releasing tensions, and violence. His accomplice would be a gift, and extra bonus as they are also going to give them money. I know you all want to attack us, but we can talk it through, money and gifts solve everything after all. This is a perfect opportunity, you must know by now that my gang is at its weakest."
"If things just go well enough, then maybe we can all work together. Maybe we don't have to fight against each other, and be on edge anymore." Geal says with a smile, but one of his men is confused and he notices it. "If you don't understand what I'm saying then you can leave. If we are to get into a fight, we will lose with no way of ever winning. Not even a slimmer of a chance for a stalemate which is our best outcome by the way. Our lives are on the line, and Daniel is out ticket out fo this mess." Gael says.
"I'll just kill myself right here before you hand me over. I won't let you all take me so easily, you all won't see it." Daniel says.
"Oh right…how would you even get out of this without a miracle? You don't know the position your in. I can't believe I thought of you as a very reliable man, I warned you about many things. I'm glad that I never told you much more important work as I'm thankful." Gael then turns to his men.
"Alright go and cover his mouth, I don't want to listen to him anymore." He says and his men go and cover his mouth. "Don't hurt him alright, it's rude to hand over a damaged gift." Gael then begins to think of ways to make their meeting perfect. Ways to make them get out of trouble, and without much effort.
It's been a full week since Ashly, and Lucas went off with Amir. He told them about were he lived, and what his building looked like. They then enter a building, and Ashly can see a much older man sitting down. The man looks up at them, and smiles while he waves at them.
"Why is there an old man here, is he part of this group of yours?" Ashly is a bit uneasy as she was never told about another person being here.
"Now it's rude to disrespect your elders, I dont want a young lady like you to speak like that. Oh right my name is Omar, and I'm from the Lurkers but don't worry! I know you're from that other gang, but I hate both. I want to help you so don't do anything irrational." Omar says as he raises his hands as Ashly doesn't look happy.
"Calm down Ashly." Lucas says as he puts his hand on her shoulder. "I have a feeling that Amir can be trusted, he doesn't look like a bad person." Ashly looks at Lucas, and she relaxes a bit.
"He is right, I wouldn't have called or tried to connect with Omar if we didn't have the same goal. We are here to make a plan that will get all of us out of trouble, no one will get hurt." Amir says as he approached Omar.
"Listen I have a bit of influence within the Lurkers, the plan requires changes. I can go back, and convince them to make a fake deal with the rival gang. They may not respect me, but they do blindly trust me as they are all stupid." Omar says as he touches his face, he can still feel the pain he received from many years ago.
"Deal? I don't remember Amir telling us about a deal, what else did you not tell us?" Ashly says as she stares at Amir.
"Forget about it, he has reasons to still doubt you two. Besides I received a letter three days ago form the dear leader, Gael." Omar then pulls out the letter, and they all look at it.
Omar then opens the letter. "Daniel that man was captured by them, I was honestly shocked and worried. When I told Amir about the news I was glad that he held in his emotions as this was important." Omar says and Amir nods.
"The rival gangs are desperate for some form of negotiation. They want to ease of some tensions that you, and Daniel caused before." Omar says as he points at Ashly, and she begins to walk to him but Lucas holds onto her.
"They know they will lose, and as I'm the only one with a brain. I was allowed to make most decisions as they need me to negotiate for them. I was easily able to let them allow me to write a letter, that is why I'm here." Omar then pulls out a blank peice of paper.
"As you can see now, he is our most valuable member. With him we can have him initiate the plan in our favor. We want the Lurkers to ambush Gael, and the others, we need to end them now. Omar promised that he will make sure a huge amount of the Lurkers will come. He wanted them to all die, and they will all be too dumb to know that they all been played." Amir says with a bit of excitement in his eyes.
"If things just go mostly fine then Daniel will be free. I'm a bit nervous since he did mess them up a lot so he could end up getting hurt." Amir says as he bites his lips.
"Well may I ask, what will happen if things go all wrong, like most of it? I want to know the risks as I don't want to die like that, I don't want it to be nothing in the end." Ashly says as Lucas agrees.
"Well I'll start with the best outcome, it would be that the tensions rise. We will be in the middle, and we will have to fight along with them, that's our best worst outcome." Amir says with a smile that is forced.
"Well if that's the best then what's the worst outcome? I want to know as well as I want to know if the risk is worth the effort." Lucas asks as he pulls Ashly more back to the wall.
"You're asking the smart questions already kid, I like you already. The answer won't be what you'll like, at worst we will be caught, and executed by both parties." Omar says so casually which disturbs Lucas.
"That's very awful, I don't think I can ever risk something like that." Lucas turns to Ashly. "Do you think you can risk that?" Ashly just nods agreeing with them, Lucas isn't too happy about that.
"That's not even the worst part not even the fact that they could torture us. The worst part is that by torturing us together, they might bond and work together. That will defeat our whole purpose about trying out this plan." Omar says as he grabs a pen.
"Well if that is what will happen, I will just sneak off. I am great at running away and I have some experience now." Ashly says with confidence as she grabs Lucas's shoulder. She smiles at him. "You will help me out again right?" Lucas gulps as maybe it's best not to do it.
"Well we will be hunted down for the rest of our life's if we run away. Although you're living that now so nothing would change for us. Out of everyone here, Ashly's life wouldn't change that much." Lucas says as he tries to remove Ashly's hand, but she tightens harder as he tries.
"Yes, Lucas is right about me, I can handle being targeted. I will just simply stay sharp, and not let go until I'm too old. Even by then, they might have already given up so I'm alright. If I'm lucky, when I grow older my looks might change as well." Ashly says as she touches her face, Lucas is still struggling to free himself.
"Well of course, all she has to do is change some clothes and age. Look I'll make this meeting happen in a month so prepare before then." Omar says as he is a bit jealous that Ashly has somewhat of a way to escape all of this.
"Ashly we haven't know each other for long so this might be weird of me to ask. I want you to do one simple thing, and that will be it, we will handle everything else. I just want you to listen to whatever I say." Amir asks and Ashly just nods as she has nothing better to do.
