"Well, look at that."
There is a commotion happening around me, pulling me from sleep.
"One more! Yes, I think you should start the recording too. This is good."
"Shouldn't we let them sleep?"
"Sure, but not before we record them. They look so cute together."
My body feels heavy, not in the tired heavy, but physically heavy … as if someone is pinning me down.
I try to move, but there is a hand around my waist, and my arm is kind of numb because I think someone is lying almost on top of me.
"What," I yawn, trying to detach from the delicious warmth that is on me, and the said weight moves away from me in a grumble, and I am free. I try peeling my eyes open, rubbing them.
"Did you catch that?"
"You bet."
The voices are clear now, and I fully open my eyes only to see two figures at the edge of the bed, looking down on me.
"ahhhh!"
"What, what? Why are you screaming?"
"Andre?" shit, I think I almost got a heart attack. "rex?"
