Looking around me I find myself at the new world, as for the name of this world it was called the Chronicles. Why this world exactly, well just as he said before, it was because it was an easy grab for powers. A world where a bunch of teenager find a meteorite and gain mental powers. But as they say power corrupts, and they lose themselves to their powers adding their family drama into it as well and you get a classic scenario of one person trying to defend himself and becoming the bad guy, and another with their classic hero complex being the good guy.
This movie was good for getting powers just by touching a rock. And the good part, is you can train it to become stronger, which with his adaptation will be a piece of cake. There is also one fact I always wanted to check, and that was if the powers that were gained from the rock was divided between them or not. And what would happen if only one person touched the rock. Would they get all the power that was divided or just a small portion of it.
Looking around it was close to the night, it was 7:30, and the Main character of this world was at the party currently, and that was where I was now. More like in front of the place, this once again shows how precise the kaleidoscope can be. Heading towards the party inside, I got in quite easily. There was no security or anything to stop anyone, but even if there were, it's not like they could stop me.
Getting inside max was hit by the blinding lights and the deafening music. This was the first time max had come to a party like this, and with his senses dialled up, he really didn't know why people liked it so much. But like always his senses got accustomed to his new situation and he easily controlled them. After which, Finding himself a chair max sat down, and started looking around for his targets. But just as he was doing that, he heard a voice calling out to him.
Unknown voice: Wanna dance
A girl, probably drunk, says to max with a glass in her hand while holds it out to him.
Looking at the girl max replied with a smile.
Max: Sorry, I don't drink.
Max knew why she approached him, thanks to his abilities, and the serum he was looking better than ever. Even if he was not at the level where people would jump his bones, right now with his body and face he was in the top leagues.
But right now, he needed to focus, as he had a job to do, booty calls can be done later once he gets what he wanted. Since as long as work his way up, and get stronger while getting better powers he will, one day, be able to fuck just about anyone he liked, whether they were real or from a fantasy setting would matter. But for now, He shouldn't be distracted and lose sight of the prize.
Looking as max ignored her, after that one sentence, the girl left with an angry look but then as she went to the dance floor and started dancing again with another guy, she quickly becomes cheerful again. Not caring to look at her, max started looking around when he spotted them, just as they arrived.
Andrew (main character of the movie chronicles) with sickly pale skin and his cousin Matt. As I watched them carefully throughout the evening, I also found the next target of this little group up, which was Steve. I watched for a little while longer, and soon in the middle of the party, Steve and Matt go out, while this was happening I was watching them with x-ray vision, so I never lost them for a second. So I waited, and a few minutes later, they come back to pick up Andrew. Seeing that as my Que I get up and start following them, from the sky, and as the sun had long since set, there was no way for anyone to even spot me here.
I watched as they meet up and begin to move forward into the forest, so I continued following them, until they stopped in front of a hole in the ground. Now you see I had a theory I wanted to check, in a world not as dangerous as 40k or marvel or Dc.
Could I take the life of a protagonist of world, I mean my wishes of Existence protection, protects me from them, but could I really do it. I mean, I killed Jafar, but he was a villain, and this group here include both the villain, the hero and the side characters. Also the fact that will the world protect them now, before the plot has even started or do they need the plot to start to get the protection of the world. So calling on my power of Death note, I started writing the names of these character, and their cause of death with their time of death. Another fact which I wanted to check, I mean would they die with the name they had in this world, or did I have to write the name of their original world (the actor's name).
Looking down, I saw as Steve started to go downstairs, followed by matt, but as Andrew was about to follow. He stopped and clinched his heart, but before he could say anything he fell down, dead. Seeing this, and confirming my theory or at-least one part of it, I flew down and pushed his body into the hole as I flew inside, just as the voices from inside called out for him.
Getting inside I see cave around and float above ground just to make sure I don't leave any kind of prints behind, I move toward the noise matt and steve were making. Like in the movies, Steve was about to jump out from his hiding place, which I could see clearly, and even hear his heartbeat, but just as he jumps out he suddenly drops to the ground with a look of fear on his face, dead from a heart attack. Another theory solved, which means I can control the person just before they die after writing their name and make them do what I want.
Not stopping I move forward until I could see a bluish glow, and see matt who just drops on seeing me. Solving my third theory of placing condition on someone after writing their name, and once those conditions are fulfilled, the person dies. For matt the condition was seeing someone outside his group, which was me for now.
And not a moment too soon, suddenly, a loud, high-pitched sound arose and the earth began to shake. After a few minutes the ground stopped shaking and I see a blue crystal which was giving a captivating and a mysterious feeling.
So not wasting any more time I place my hand on the crystal and I feel a shift in my mind as I allow the change to happen, I guess this is when the Main character lose conciseness but maybe it's because I'm stronger and my body is adapting as soon as the changes are made or maybe because of my will, I stay awake as the process is underway.
