Whoosh!
An arrow shot through the air like lightning, striking the Owl Man's chest with precision, and electricity immediately surrounded him.
Boom!
The Owl Man fell heavily to the ground.
Jason, Tim, and Oliver arrived just in time.
"Who is this guy?" Tim asked as he helped Dick up.
"I don't know. The three people who appeared at the manor were also killed by him, and the trail has gone cold," Dick said, his face dark and brows furrowed.
"That's not necessarily true. If we question this guy, he surely knows something," Jason said as he walked over to the fallen Owl Man and pulled off his mask.
It was a face that resembled Dick's by about seventy percent.
"How is this possible?" Dick's eyes widened in shock.
"Calm down. This doesn't mean anything. There are people who look alike," Oliver said, trying to console him.
"...Right," Dick breathed deeply, trying to reassure himself.
But it was too coincidental—what did he mean when he said, "I'm one of them?"
Dick suddenly had an idea and quickly walked to the fitting room. He opened the door to reveal a trembling figure inside.
"Harley, what are you doing here?"
Harley didn't hear him, her eyes filled with fear, mumbling to herself.
"The Owl is here. No one can escape."
Beep beep beep beep!
A series of sharp sounds rang out, echoing loudly in the small room.

"..."
Jason silently put his gun away, found a chair, and sat down, crossing his arms.
"Harley, can you tell us what you know? We really need it," Tim said, his eyes filled with sincerity.
Bruce's disappearance, the hundred Batmans who appeared, the assumed death of the mastermind, and their friend Barbara also missing—all of these things had caused his thoughts to spiral into confusion.
Harley dropped her playful demeanor.
"Alright, little bird, since you helped me block it earlier, I'll tell you. I don't know much. I was just shopping when those three people suddenly came in, and I was chatting happily with the little red one."
"Then a man wearing an owl mask appeared. He called himself Talon and said he was going to kill every member of the Wayne family."
"That man, we don't know him. He can't be a part of the Wayne family," Dick asked in confusion, his brow furrowed.
"Hahaha, really? But when he talked to me, he called himself Chino Wayne."
Harley laughed, but there was a sly glint in her eyes.
"Chino!" Tim and Dick exclaimed simultaneously, both faces full of surprise.
"You know him?" Oliver asked, raising an eyebrow.
"We don't know him, but a few months ago, Bruce transferred the shares of Wayne Enterprises to someone named Chino. But this Chino never appeared, and now, just when he does, he's dead," Dick said, rubbing his temples, feeling the case was becoming even more confusing.
The mastermind they had thought was dead, the true identity of the hundred Batmans still unknown, and now Talon who looked so much like him.
"We may have made a mistake. That Chino may not be the enemy," Tim said after thinking for a moment, his expression grave.
Chino Wayne?
Regardless of whether it was true or not, the question remained:
"Who killed him?" Tim asked urgently.
Harley's expression turned to one of fear, her body trembling uncontrollably.
"The Owl is here. No one can escape..."
The Owl?
Tim looked outside and saw a figure on a tree branch not far away—an owl. It stood silently, its round eyes glowing eerily in the darkness.
"Be careful of the Court of Owls. They always watch people's movements. They control Gotham from the shadows, hiding in low buildings and attics. They monitor you even in your home and bed. Once their name is mentioned, Talon will come to take your life.
This is a long-standing Gotham nursery rhyme adults use to scare children. Maybe it's not just a legend."
Jason's voice was low and oppressive as he spoke.
"We need to go to the Batcave. There might be answers there," Dick said seriously.
The group quickly decided on their next course of action.
Harley watched them leave, a sly smile curling on her lips, as she turned to the side and spoke.
"How was my acting, Little Red?"
Chino, Venom, and Pamela's figures slowly appeared, like ghosts from the air.
"Great! You could definitely win an Oscar," Pamela complimented with a smile.
"Let's go! The next scene is about to begin."
Chino said as he led the way, the others following closely behind. Their figures soon disappeared into the darkness.
Dick quickly arrived at the manor, opening a hidden corner to reveal a secret elevator.
As the elevator descended rapidly, they finally reached the dimly lit Batcave. There, dozens of Batmans stood still like statues, silently watching them.
Weak light crisscrossed across their forms, casting eerie and sinister shadows that sent chills down their spines.
Quote of the Chapter:"The Court of Owls is always watching, controlling Gotham from the shadows, and once their name is spoken, Talon will come to collect your soul."
