Idan had never heard Arabel swear like that before, and it took him by surprise.
Despite the pain, she clenched her fists and swung them, unable to open her eyes because of the dried blood.
"Belle," called Idan in a voice not his usual one.
Arabel stopped when she heard his call, but it was clear that she was still tense and behaving cautiously.
Idan did not approach her, deciding to give her time, hoping that Arabel, like him, would remember who she was and how they ended up here.
Arabel said in a hoarse voice, which pleased Idan.
Despite her hoarseness, there was hope in her voice.
"Yes, Belle! It's me!" exclaimed Idan, delighted that Arabel had finally recognized him.
"Fuck, Dan! It was you!" Arabel suddenly cursed, and there was anger in her voice.
Idan was speechless again. There was a brief silence.
