The fire didn't just coat the chains. It roared like a pulse, quickly enveloping the whole demon with its body. The temperature seared inside the barrier. If Killian were less capable, everyone would have suffered from the intense heat. However, just because they weren't affected, it didn't mean they didn't react to the blaze.
"What in the world?" Kathy dropped her jaw in shock. Not only Kathy but almost every spirit hunter in their ranks reacted the same. She flicked her gaze at the man who stuck to the barrier as if Killian didn't allow Rhodes to pass through. She whispered, "This cannot be done by a normal hunter."
"Kathy, prepare to wipe out the demon's army," Killian spoke into his sister's mind. "The demon dies in the next few seconds."
"He's that strong? Even you can't disintegrate a demon like this!"
