Chapter 25 - The Fall Of Magami Clan (Part 3)

Previous Chapter,

Ha-Joon, who had finally defeated all the guards, saw the remaining guards from the inner circle hurled towards him, his face which had remained stoic all the moment turned into a savage grin.

"Hehe... hahahaha.. Come at me with all you got. Push my body to its absolute limit, and help me grow through the battle"

_____

Ha-Joon grinned savagely.

He sprinted toward the nearest wall, scaling it with inhuman speed. The goons unable to catch Ha-Joon, hurled their weapons towards him like a arrow. The rooftop archers seeing their chance, charged arrow towards him.

But Ha-Joon?

He simply didn't care the coming arrow towards him, but instead blocked them with his body. Had it been Muramasa (sword), he might have been afraid because of its ability to cut through black bone.

But against normal weapons, he simply didn't bother dodging them, instead openly welcomed it.

Reaching the rooftop, he tore through the archers in brutal close combat, their bows useless against his relentless assault.

In an instant, the once rooptop became a graveyard.

Below rooptop, all the goons regrouped forming the defensive stance.

Ha-Joon leapt down into their midst without hesitation.

The sound of 'Clang' resounded throughout the place, as his fist collided with the weapon head on.

But instead of cutting through his fist, the goon holding his weapon was sent flying from the sheer impact of their colliding.

He waved through their strike with fluidity, countering not with fancy technique but with savage brutality.

The moment they clashed, only a few minutes had passed but all the goons lay broken and battered around the ground.

....

From the inner sanctum of the Magami estate, Ryuujo Magami, the oyabun of Magami family watched in horror. The elders at the side couldn't help but exclaim.

"This is no ordinary fighter."

"Are new generation, already this strong."

From the side, Ryuujo veins throbbed from the fear shown by his clan's elder. Not to mention them, even he felt genuine fear from Ha-Joon but hadn't shown them outright, instead his clan elders were already trembling.

He slammed his staff around the floor.

"Gather everyone." He roared. "Prepare yourself for combat, we end this here."

The moment, his voice fell all the elders snapped out of fear. They began preparing themself for the combat.

The estate became warzone for them.

While they were preparing themself. Ha-Joon moved through gates while decimating guards along the way.

Along the way, he couldn't help but sigh.

His body had begun to go stiff from the long fighting without proper rest. If he had fought this much in his previous life even with a trained body, he would have long collapsed from fatigue.

Fortunately, he was in the fictional verse which hadn't caused much restrain even from constant fighting.

While sighing, he finally arrived at the innermost part of the Magami estate.

Magami Ryuujo stood waiting, surrounded by the last dozen warriors the clan could muster. The old man wore a dark gi, his stance wide, bare hands clenched in fists like iron.

"You," Ryuujo said, voice filled with fury. "You dare destroy my house. You dare insult generations of loyalty."

"If you were loyal." He spoke laced with sarcasm. "then why were you planning to plunge Yamazaki."

Ryuujo went silent, but still defended himself as he spoke. "Hmph, today's Yamazaki is nothing but a shell of the past. We followed them because yamazaki was the strongest, but today no more. And we don't want to follow the weak family and suffer from other."

Ha-Joon didn't spoke nor did he take Ryuujo word seriously, but instead he slowly took out the cigaratte from his pocket with a practice ease, before lighting it.

"Ohh." Ha-Joon spoke, before taking a deep drag from the burning cigaratte. "Yamazaki is weak, you say."

"Then, let this weak Yamazaki one man to take you all out."

Having said that, he threw cigaratte and slowly moved. Seeing that Ha-Joon was slowly advancing towards him. Ryuujo did't waste his word but advanced towards Ha-Joon.

Ryuujo quickly took his chance to lauch attack.

A front kick launched toward Ha-Joon's ribs, followed by a swift low sweep targeting his legs, his attack was filled with blistering speed. Ha-Joon blocked with his forearm, skidding back from the force. Before he could counter, Ryuujo closed the distance with a series of machine-gun punches, 'seiken tsuki', slamming into Ha-Joon's guard like iron pistons.

Ryuujo was a master of kyoukushin karate. In the original timeline, he was one of the true mentor of Gun, teaching all the devastating technique of Kyoukushin in his young age.

But even if he had mastered his martial arts to its limit. He couldn't defeat Gun, meaning Ha-Joon could also defeat Ryuujo with ease.

He simply chose not to end it quickly was because of his love for fight. And because of this he opted for a hearty battle.

Ha-Joon ducked under a roundhouse, lunging forward with an elbow to Ryuujo's chin, but he weaved and retaliated with a devastating gedan mawashi geri, a low roundhouse kick, clipping Ha-Joon's knee.

Pain shot up Ha-Joon's leg. He stumbled for half a step.

Ryuujo didn't miss a beat. He surged forward and landed a crushing body blow, tanden punch, straight to the solar plexus.

Ha-Joon gasped, the wind knocked out of him.

But he grinned.

This was the fight he wanted.

For a moment, Ha-Joon didn't attack him but simply endured it.

Just as fight reached its peak. Ha-Joon sprang into action. He closed the distance between himself and the disciples of the Magami.

He dispatched them with a brutal efficiency, knocking all of them instantly.

Now only Ryuujo and the elders remained in the fight.

Ha-Joon turned just in time to see Arata unleashing a jumping knee strike, a textbook tobi hiza geri, aimed at his head. Ha-Joon raised both arms in a high guard and absorbed the blow, the impact sending a shockwave through his body.

"Yes, this is it," Ha-Joon grinned.

Then he struck back.

A thunderous spinning back fist landed on Ryuujo's shoulder. The elder staggered but turned it into a low sweep. Ha-Joon jumped, landing a double knee crash onto Ryuujo's chest as they both hit the ground.

They rolled apart and stood again. For a moment neither attacked the other.

Then, instantly they both charged.

Ryuujo launched a flurry of strikes, body and leg combinations, renzoku waza, testing Ha-Joon's defense.

Ha-Joon absorbed the hits, stepped inside, and landed a brutal liver hook, followed by a shoulder check that sent Ryuujo crashing into the wall.

Still the old man rose.

With bloodied fists and cracked ribs, he let out a roar and struck with a perfect ushiro mawashi geri, a spinning back kick. Ha-Joon barely shifted his weight, letting the kick graze past as he stepped in with a crushing uppercut.

Ryuujo's legs buckled.

The oyabun of Magami fell to one knee, breathing raggedly.

"What a beast." Ryuujo rasped.

Ha-Joon merely chuckled at the man's word.

"Got a dying wish."

Ryuujo suddenly looked up and met Ha-Joon's eyes as he spoke. "Please, spare my son."

Ha-Joon responded with a nod.

With a final, explosive knee to the chest, hiza geri, he drove Ryuujo fully to the ground. Ha-Joon then raised his heel high and stomped down with finality, breaking the elder's ribs with a sickening crunch.

Magami Arata gasped once and stilled.

His heart stopped.

The oyabun of the Magami was dead.
