"Hehehe…" The black-cloaked man revealed a sinister smile under his mask. Holding onto mini Jiren, he completely ignored Gicchin's fury.
"Attack…"
From the black hole behind him, countless black-cloaked figures emerged, all dressed identically to him.
"Kill them all!"
The black-cloaked figures scattered in all directions, and soon, screams echoed from the village. Houses collapsed one after another.

"Heh, their kind should never have existed in this universe. And you… why are you protecting him?" The black-cloaked man sneered maliciously.
"Is it because of your so-called justice?"
Gicchin wanted to retort, but the black-cloaked man shoved mini Jiren, now choking, in his face.
Forced to halt his attack, Gicchin was kicked into the snow by the black-cloaked man.
"Ha!"
Below, Jiren suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of the black-cloaked man, punching at him again.
The black-cloaked man showed no mercy, meeting Jiren's attack with his own punch. "Didn't expect there to be another one like this little guy… Seems like I missed someone."
As their fists clashed, Jiren, lacking in strength, was sent flying. Midair, he launched a powerful energy blast without regard for the mini Jiren in the black-cloaked man's grasp.

"This place…" Jiren's hands clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"What's wrong with this place?!" Lin Qi turned to Jiren, who stood frozen in place. "Hurry up, we need to find Gicchin and the others!"
"Don't just stand there… Their energy signatures are getting farther away!"
Just as Lin Qi prepared to fly, he felt a subtle movement beneath his feet.
"Something's coming…"
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
From the horizon, ridges of earth rose, as if a massive underground creature was writhing its way toward them.
The ridges moved swiftly, closing in on Lin Qi and Jiren.
"What the hell is that?"
Before Lin Qi could react, the ground beneath his feet burst open, and a massive creature with a skeletal snake-like body emerged.
"Howl!"
"How ugly…" Without hesitation, Lin Qi fired an energy blast, obliterating the creature before him.
"Arghhh!"
With a scream, the monster was blown to pieces, its shattered body raining down.
The remaining half of its snake tail thrashed wildly in the dirt.
