"Three?" Edmund tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. "How about five?"
[Honestly, I want to buy every dress she tried on, but I know she'd refuse.]
Primrose hadn't expected him to be that thoughtful, or to understand her so well.
"Alright, five …" she said gently, smiling at him. "Thank you, husband."
She wanted to kiss him right there, but the curious stares of the boutique staff made her pause.
Instead, she pressed a soft kiss to her fingertips and gently touched them to his lips.
"I'll give you the real one later," she whispered with a playful smile.
He took a deep breath, looking like he was trying hard to keep himself from doing something reckless. "I'll be waiting for it, my wife."
After that, Primrose told the boutique owner which dresses she wanted, and the woman's eyes immediately lit up when she realized Primrose was buying five at once.
"Don't worry, young miss! I'll make sure each dress fits your body perfectly once I adjust them!" she said with confidence.
