as the saying goes "all are equal before death "
I found out that in the hard way
I was called heavenly king, merciful lord, wise king by my country men and master of sword, war demon, lord of death by my enemies.
my name was ArthurSmith and when I became king , they changed it to "St.Arthurdelight" as praise to me and I accepted it .
I fought for almost 208 years from time i was 25 till this day .
with the help of my trusted allies , united must of countries or what was left of them.
all of this happend after 70 years after doomed day happened.
in year 20XX suddenly earth started to shake and for weeks it stayed like that and soon enough governments found out that earths surface was expanding and in this expanded place new species started to living .
at first they were harmless but as expansion continued stronger and stronger creatures started to appear.
by the time government began taking action everything was pointless.
soon these creatures we called demons attacked cities and civilization of humanity was at the risk of extinction.
for 5 years people could do nothing and lived in hiding and running away from demons but soon we found out that by killing any demon you could get little bit of power and by gathering enough of these powers you could awaken youe hidden potentials and start using this power and suddenly one person found out that there is a system.
but system was very difficult to use because every function of system needed some action to become visible and it took 50 years to found out most of them.
people who drove off from thier homes and lost families to demons started a holy war against the common enemy but in 20 years of some of them started to become one with demons and changed to something that was no longer could be called human , some of the lost rationality but some kept it and start calling themselves demi-human , that was when it became a three way war.
At this point of time i was nothing but a foot soldier.
after a 146 years of war with many casualties me and my allies start to get upper hand at the holy war and won the holy war .
after the holy war , we decided to make a systematic way of fighting demons and demi-humans and further strengthen the civilization and expand the territory of human society.
at some point people start to call me king and somehow without me knowing I was king .
and my reign continued to this day .
I always thought if my level was high and keep on leveling up , I could live for ever but in the end no one is immortal except god cause he is outside of time , space and matter.
today as I left the castle to maze of mad Litch and start going down as usual , I never thought my life would come to end
as I entered the floor i was left from , system massage greeted me by " you has reach the maximum potential of you lifespan "
without further delay I felt undesirable pain spreading inside me and last thing I saw was an artificial moon inside of maze and for the first time I wasn't worried about enemies and my kingdom or cleansing demons and clearing dungeons , just admiring how beautiful this moon is and right then everything became dark with a liberation from pain and thoughts
I was floating in a dark mist like river with no thoughts or feelings , it was like a state before going to sleep.
donno how much time has past but it feels like eternity.
what happened to my body or my people as i thought about my life ,suddenly flow of river became fast and starts to accelerate and it became so fast the it felt like I was a shooting star flying in free space,but do you know what happens when shooting star hits earth??
a blast so powerful that could destroy several cities .
yeah it's what about to happen right now as I was seeing a plant in front of me , oh shit , I was heading towards that .
as the hitting moment came ,no blast or pain felt but a strong heaviness felt troughout of my body .
Arthur for the first time felt something after what felt like eternity.
wait , wait, I could feel my body again???
what is this ??
as the heaviness subdued and my thoughts became clear , I tried opening my eyes .
it was hard at first but as time passed i succeeded in opening them but what greeted me was a giant or so I thought .
at that moment I remember the novels I used to read befor the doomsday , mc of the novel would die in his original world and get reincarnated to another world , isn't this just like that ??
is this means I am one of those main character ???
