Apparently Bar was part of the Dragon Clan relief that was sent to the northern Wolf territory to help the village she and Prince Dimitri aided a week back. He decided to go further having heard about other settlements underground near the forbidden territory. He just didn't think the people here would be those effected by the toxic slugs.
Seeing the young woman his niece brought to his store was a shock to be sure, but the fact that she was with the Dragon Master he met upon his arrival, seemed even stranger. From the way they were looking and standing next to each other there was something more going on. Not wanting to pry he made joke about him being the "right one" when they both looked away from each other. *Must have stepped on a sore subject.*
