*Authors POV:*
Seeing Shawn's call came in both girls kept quiet Stella picked up her phone...
"Hello" Stella said...
"Hey Stella, how are you doing??...
"I'm fine how about you??"...
"I'm doing great my angel, I actually wanted to take you for an ice cream date, at one of the best ice cream store in town, they are making a new flavor today, wanna try it out??"...
Stella was hesitating, but Fiona urgerd her to say yes...
"By what time??" She asked
"By 1pm, pick you up by 12:30, angel"...
" Alright then"... Stella trailed off...
"Is that a yes??" Shawn asked happily...
" Mm" she responded shyly
They bid each other good bye, Shawn on the other side felt excited he's finally getting close to her, while Fiona adjusted closer to Stella waiting for to spill the beans, waiting for an explanation on how she knew the gentleman with nice voice on the call...
"Well he's a friend".. Stella said with a smile, knowing fully well Fiona wants the whole story...
"Anddd??" Getting impatient...
"Well remember the friend I told you I meet during the fashion designing competition, yeah, so he gave me a lift yesterday and we are going on an ice cream date today" Stella said and breathed out...
"Hmmm beauty, you like this one huh??" She said teasingly...
"Nah I don't, though he's a gentleman" Stella denied without wasting a breath...
"Aww, gentleman, finally you've been single for so long that you could be an ambassador for singlets" she said and laughed out loud
"Coming from someone who's the queen of being single" Stella retorted back not willing to loose to Fiona...
They teased each other happily, Fiona helped out in picking a dress, Stella looked so heavenly, the look that will turn thousands of heads, she was putting on a lilac coloured gown, it was an off shoulder gown it complemented her jade like skin, even Fiona couldn't help but gawk at her beauty, I wish there was another word to define beauty....
Stella's mum was awe-stricken, by her Angels beauty...
"And where's my angel headed, looking so beautiful"... Stella's mum commented..
"Well I'm actually heading out to see a friend..." Fiona didn't let her finish befire interrupting...
"Mum, expect a son in law soon " Fiona said with a big grin on her face..
Stella ignored Fiona and bidded her mum goodbye...
Shawn's jaws dropped when he saw how beautiful she was, and her hair which swayed peacefully with the wind, (I guess all my efforts into chasing her ain't in vain, it's worth it) he thought to him self...
On noticing Shawn, she waved, they exchanged their greetings briefly, he opened the car door for her like a perfect gentle man that he was meant to be...
"You look so gorgeous" Shawn couldn't help but comment...
"Thank you" Stella said with a pitch perfect smile...
Somewhere, someone was taking photos of them...
