I took a slow breath and looked over at Steve.
"Steve, I might be gone for a while. Wait for me here."
Ana turned to glance at me, her expression curious.
Steve's eyes narrowed as he looked at me.
"What do you mean by that?"
I met his gaze steadily.
"Remember what happened last time when I went through evolution?"
Back at level 50, when I tried to evolve my class, the system pulled me into a completely different place. I wanted to make sure he was ready if something like that happened again.
Steve gave a firm nod.
I turned to the cave's entrance and waved my hand. Violet Essence flared up, and a solid wall of energy rose, sealing the cave's opening. Only a small gap remained, covered by thick leaves from outside.
