Maya then got closer to the arguing children. "Alright that's enough!" she yelled at them.
Immediately they all stopped turned to Maya as if they had just noticed she was there. They turned around and moved away.
"You see she's really good," Bambi whispered to me. Her stern and elderly nature was good at discipling children, I suppose.
"Now that wasn't very nice of you to say so apologize to Angelo," she told the two boys that had insulted Angelo.
The two boys frowned and looked ashamed, but they reluctantly turned to Angelo.
"We're sorry," they apologized. Angelo didn't look at the boys and kept his face planted on the floor. You could see he was quite angry.
"Good," she accepted their apology.
"Now Angelo," Maya started but before she could finish Angelo turned away and left.
"Angelo!" I tried to call out to him. I turned to follow him.
"No let him go. Let's give him some time," Maya said. "He probably needs to cry it out before he comes back."
