She heard the bar owner chatting absentmindedly with the guards outside, and her tension was indescribable. She was terribly afraid the guards would suddenly open the cover and drag her out. Although she kept telling herself it was nothing, she knew well what fate awaited her if she were caught.
After a while, she heard someone knocking outside and saying, "They're gone now, you can come out."
Frey finally opened the lid of the barrel a crack and saw that there was indeed no one outside. She couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, but then noticed everyone in the bar was looking at her with amused expressions, and someone even raised a glass in her direction.
"Well done, young lady! Daring to confront those army guys!"
"Come, have a drink!"
Frey couldn't help but blush a little. She turned to the bar owner and said, "Thank you."
