Chloe Grant looked blankly as Lucas walked over. He removed the cigarette from his mouth, placed his right hand on Isabella Gray's shoulder, and grinned cheekily, "I've had a revelation. I've felt guilty all these years, so now I often come back to make amends."
"You and your slick tongue." Isabella lightly slapped Lucas's hand, but she was smiling.
Though this youngest son gave her the most worries and headaches, he was indeed the one she loved the most.
She pushed Lucas's hand away and pulled Chloe towards the house.
"Grandma, you said... Lily Grant is staying here?"
As they reached the living room, Chloe couldn't help but ask the question nagging at her heart.
