Staying at Callix Linton's place has helped Lily Turner avoid Amelia Linton's entanglement, but she doesn't feel completely at ease, with too many thoughts weighing on her mind.

After dinner that day, when Lily went to help Aunt Li wash the dishes, Callix called Easton Holmes to the living room. As soon as they sat on the sofa, he immediately asked, "Did you have a fight with Lily?"
He sounded uncertain and lacked confidence.
"Grandpa! Do I look like someone who would fight with his wife?" Instead of answering, Easton asked back, leaving Callix, who was sitting not far beside him, dumbfounded.
"Then why does Lily look so preoccupied? Don't tell me you haven't noticed at all." Since he'd noticed, he didn't believe his grandson hadn't. Callix turned slightly and looked at his grandson.
