The fractured Wizard Tower resembled the skeletal remains of a giant, tilted and embedded in the desolate earth. Walls constructed from Starlight Stone were riddled with cracks, from which vines emerged, twisting around the ruined tower like veins. The once radiant magic runes had long since dimmed.
Only the colossal base spanning several kilometers in diameter hinted at the former glory of these crumbled ruins.
Lynch brought Barton to the base of the tower.
Vines hung from the cracked stone, cascading like green waterfalls. Lynch reached out and pushed aside the tangled foliage before him, the slimy moss leaving a slippery sensation on his fingertips. Layer by layer, he pulled them apart until finally uncovering the hidden crevice behind. With that, he entered the tower.
