The light in the shop was not the brightest, but not the dimmest either. GlimmerGrob's yellow eyes glowed, traveling up and down Arabella's stiffened figure.
"Since when do you take women shopping around then?" emphasizing the word "you", the goblin raised an eyebrow, allowing his little feet to step forward. At some point in that process he froze, eyes widening, "A human!?" all of the sudden the amount of air he'd inhaled revealed insufficient.
