She closed the distance between us and when she shifted to her human form or should I say camouflage…? When she camouflaged into a human, her fox ears stuck out on the top of her head and her nine tails danced behind her in such captivating rhythm.
"I thought you died until I got information that you were back after many years," she said and I smiled.
"You didn't age one bit," she pointed the obvious.
"And you grew up pretty well," I pointed out and she scoffed.
"I've been looking for you," I let her know and she smiled and gave a knowing nod.
"Caleb informed me."
"Caleb informed you?" I blinked in wonder because it was strange that she knew him.
"Yes, he did. Come on, let's not stay here for too long," she warned and I subconsciously looked around.
Wasn't anywhere safe?
She walked ahead and I quietly followed her. She was slightly taller than me and it made me sigh internally.
Why do I always have to be surrounded by tall people?
