She didn't know why she was throwing a tantrum all of a sudden, but she was determined to walk away from here. She didn't want to be near him, so she sought after something else, and luckily, she had the right thing in mind —Magnus, the vampire lord.
He was her mission tonight, and she would take care of that now before she did something anymore out of character than this.
Davion was still in shock, taken aback by the change in her tone and the way she looked at him. Although it was subtle, there was an accusation in her gaze. There was also hurt in her eyes too.
"Greta…" Before he could speak, Edith stepped back and stepped to the side to go around him.
"Please, excuse me, your Majesty," she bowed once again and walked away.
Davion watched her walk away, stunned. He had wondered what caused her change, but now that he was starting to grasp the reason, it felt… unbelievable.
