Velra rushed through the air at full speed, her body cutting through the wind like a black and pink arrow.
The wind howled around her, but she didn't slow down.
Her eyes were locked on the scene ahead.
She could already see it.
One of her girls, down on one knee, injured and surrounded by rubble.
And standing over her was someone else.
A tall woman with silver-blonde hair tied into a braid. Skybrand.
Velra's eyes narrowed. "Damn it… I'm late."
Down below, Skybrand looked calmly at the wounded girl, one of Velra's trained soldiers.
Her blade hovered just above the girl's chest.
"Tell me where your base is," Skybrand said coldly.
The girl clenched her teeth and looked away, refusing to answer.
Skybrand stared at her. "I see."
Without another word, she raised her blade higher, ready to finish it.
But before she could strike, a voice rang out.
"Don't you dare."
A blur of black and pink crashed toward her.
It was Velra.
