Throughout a couple of weeks, they conquered monsters, and soon enough, all of them had a class and the ability to use the skills granted to them competently. The air was dry and cold, a frigid winter with no forecasts. Anna couldn't help but stare out the window, looking at the snow simultaneously as if it were a beauty and a curse.
Knock Knock
"Door is unlocked." (Anna)
Justin walked in a fresh set of clothes, different from when they first met. Last week, before the snow started to fall, all of them agreed to raid a clothes shop, so they went in trying to find winter clothes and some other clothing that would suit their needs. He wore a V-neck quarter-sleeve shirt with a felt-lined jean jacket and jeans.
"You look dressed up." (Anna)
"If I'm honest, I feel dressed up compared to you, if to be blunt." (Justin)
Anna was seated in a plush chair against the window to allow a view outside. Her brown hair is tied back into a messy bun while wearing a baggy long-sleeved turtleneck shirt and baggy sweatpants.
"I'm comfortable." (Anna)
Anna shrugged and looked outside, seeing that some of the monsters they had been cleaning out had avoided the cold.
"So what's with the visit?" (Anna)
"We plan on scouting through the snow to see if we can ambush some more monsters to gain more levels." (Justin)
"You already know you don't need my permission to do that, right?" (Anna)
"Well, I wondered if you are done making the winter leather armor." (Justin)
"I'm taking a break today, and no, I haven't finished it all." (Anna)
"Also, how many bullets are left?" (Justin)
Anna's eyes glazed over as she entered her mental space to see what she had left.
"Only four more rounds of fighting, then we will be out entirely." (Anna)
The survivors of the city raided the gun stores and places with bullets before abandoning the city, so they have yet to procure more bullets.
Justin leaned against the door frame, a pensive look on his expression.
"So you're saying that soon you won't have any real way to level up?" (Justin)
"Oh, actually, I started experimenting, and it turns out I can still level up without killing monsters. I can heal the group and still level it. It just takes a lot longer." (Anna)
"Well, either was, I hope we find a dungeon soon because then we can hopefully get more attack magic for at least both of us." (Justin)
"That is true." (Anna)
"Hey, food is almost... Watcha doing?" (Mark)
Mark, walking from the kitchen, had a funky grin on his face that made Anna scrunch her nose.
"I don't know what you're thinking, but please stop it's making me feel gross." (Anna)
Mark laughed, shaking his head before looking at both of them.
"The ramen soup is done." (Mark)
"You know, you could just call it ramen." (Anna)
Anna stood up out of her seat and went to her door, where the two of them were standing.
