In the middle of the room sat a crystal stand with the kingdom's royal emblem carved into it. The crystal seemed to breathe with its own inner light, throwing rainbow patterns on the curved walls.
"This is the Heart of Lyranth," Sylrathi said, her purple eyes reflecting the room's glow. "It's the kingdom's ultimate defense system. No one's touched it for almost a hundred years."
