Walking in with an overly imposing attitude was a purple-haired BBA—cross that out—was a purple-haired mature woman.
Her strikingly gorgeous red-purple long hair fell straight down her back. Her cold and distant facial features made her seem particularly unapproachable, and her sharp gaze alone made the students in the classroom instinctively lower their heads in fear.
She was dressed in an office lady outfit, a white blouse covered by a purple blazer, and a matching tight-fitting short skirt. Below the skirt was a pair of alluring, glossy black silk-clad legs.
She looked to be in her late twenties or early thirties, at the peak of a woman's charm. Her exquisite curves were enough to make anyone exclaim in admiration.
Damn it.
Eiji sighed inwardly.
He never expected this year's homeroom teacher to be Scáthach.
She was a well-known "queen of discipline" at Type-Moon Academy, famous for her strictness with students—arguably the harshest teacher in the entire school. You could search all over Japan and barely find anyone stricter.
As soon as she entered, the entire classroom plunged into a deathly silence. Everyone, including the usually brash Achilles, was scared stiff, not even daring to take a deep breath.
"Good."
Scáthach scanned the room and, seeing that everyone was sitting upright, nodded in satisfaction.
"Today is the first day of school, and there are no classes. Wait for the announcement over the broadcast, then head to the gymnasium for the opening ceremony. Afterward, return to clean the classroom. I don't want to see anyone skipping out. Understood?"
"Understood!"
A few boys in the front row, their faces flushed, answered loudly.
They seemed a little too eager.
"I don't know what you think you understand, but I'm certain you don't want to understand it."
Scáthach didn't show any sign of disgust, only giving them a meaningful look.
"Yes! We don't want to understand!"
They looked even more excited.
"Alright, now let's elect class representatives."
She let out a small chuckle, as if she had taken note of the troublemakers, then got straight to the point.
"If you want to be a class rep, you can volunteer. Otherwise, I'll choose for you. I don't want to waste too much time on this."
The class rep selection was over in less than two minutes.
Truly swift and decisive.
Taking advantage of the moment, Eiji glanced around the classroom.
This class had a total of thirty students. Apart from the teacher, there were several other Heroic Spirit classmates. Suzuka Gozen and Achilles were just two of them. Among the familiar and unfamiliar faces, there were at least four or five more.
"If they all have their Heroic Spirit memories and end up in an all-out brawl, that would be quite the spectacle."
Eiji thought to himself, his mind drifting toward chaos.
Study time was incredibly boring for him.
Back in middle school, he used to skip class frequently.
At the time, driven by curiosity and urgency, he searched all over his town for anything related to the supernatural, trying to step into the world of mystery.
But no matter how much he scoured Kinoko City, he found no trace of magic.
He even searched online for famous Type-Moon locations like Fuyuki City, but there were no leads—almost as if these places simply didn't exist in this world.
That had left him extremely disappointed.
Even now, with his powers restored through "True Spirit Awakening," he was still obsessed with uncovering the hidden world.
After all, if he couldn't distinguish between world lines, he might very well end up in a future where humanity was incinerated or frozen in time.
Who knew if, in this chaotic world, Gudao could still save humanity?
If not, things would be disastrous.
'If all else fails, I'll just use Charm on Scáthach!'
Eiji thought viciously to himself.
A Scáthach without her Heroic Spirit memories would never be able to resist his Charm. He could pose her in whatever position he wanted—he could turn hardened steel into pliant silk.
However, the Charm ability was far too overpowered.
Once activated, the affected person would become his devoted servant for life, losing both self-awareness and soul, obeying his every command without hesitation. Even if he told them to die, they would do so without a second thought. It was a complete and utter violation of their personality and dignity.
Thinking about it carefully... it was kind of thrilling!
Just as his thoughts were running wild, the school-wide broadcast suddenly crackled to life.
With a single command from Scáthach, the students, feeling as if they had been granted amnesty, all hurried toward the gymnasium.
Eiji wasn't chosen as a class rep.
Surprisingly, Scáthach didn't even consider picking him. In the past, teachers always made him a candidate, forcing him to decline personally.
He wasn't sure what she was thinking, but he was more than happy to take it easy.

"Yo-ho! Hello, everyone! I'm your beloved big brother, Principal Merlin!"
Inside the gymnasium, a young man with white, curly hair, wearing a snug suit, stood on stage with a radiant, flower-like smile, greeting over a thousand students.
"Scum."
"Trash."
"The filth of humanity."
A few hushed insults floated up from the audience.
"Haha, it seems like there are some misunderstandings between us! But I'll just pretend I didn't hear that."
Merlin's smile remained undiminished as he pulled a sheet of paper from his pocket.
"The chairman is busy, so he gave me a speech to read… Ahem. Hahaha! Welcome to the academy, you mongrels—oops, not something I should read aloud. Let's skip that."
That sounded like a pretty terrible insult.
But since it was an annual tradition, it only caused a small stir before people quickly lost interest.
"Blah, blah, blah…"
Merlin droned on for thirty minutes about "realizing one's value" and "studying hard to secure a future"—the same old clichés. Eiji filtered it all out as meaningless noise.
"And now, the new student council president will speak."
"Umumu! The Emperor has arrived!"
Eiji's expression immediately turned serious.
Watching the passionate young lady from the Roman Conglomerate on stage and listening to her powerful speech, he nodded along earnestly.
What a spectacular speech!
"Umumu?"
"Umumu!"
By the end of the speech, most students in the gym had already been brainwashed into responding with "umumu."
"Hmm?"
Eiji's mind was filled with countless echoes of "umumu."
Then, all of a sudden, he sensed a gaze.
Being watched was nothing new to him.
But this gaze was different—it lacked the usual infatuation, devoid of any vulgar heat.
Following the gaze, Eiji's eyes unexpectedly met with those of Principal Merlin from afar.
Across the crowded gym, Merlin's eyes landed precisely on him. Gone was the exaggerated flamboyance from earlier—his expression was now one of scrutiny.
When their eyes met, Merlin's face showed a trace of surprise. Then, with a faint smile, he looked away.
'Why is he staring at me?'
Eiji frowned inwardly.
He wasn't close with Merlin.
Despite being the principal, Merlin was rarely present at school. Most of the academy's affairs were managed by the vice principal or the senior faculty.
Did he hear about my reputation?
Eiji was well aware that he often stirred up trouble at school.
But aside from that, he didn't think much of it and dismissed the thought.
