Chapter 204 - [204] The Golden-Haired Defeated Dog

"Can you do it, Kendo Club leader?"

Nero raised her head proudly and looked at the Kendo Club captain beside her.

Artoria was already dumbfounded.

This was practically a confession to Eiji in front of everyone.

"T-This is too... shameless!"

Her face turned bright red, filled with embarrassment and anger.

She had a good impression of Eiji, but it was admiration for his character and swordsmanship, not romantic affection.

To someone as conservative as her, confessing right after meeting someone was simply too improper, far beyond what she could accept!

At the very least, they should spend some time together first!

"Relationships between men and women are the most natural thing. You old-fashioned relic."

Nero stood triumphantly with her hands on her hips, raising her head like a peacock displaying its feathers.

"Uh, well..."

"Hold it!"

Just as Eiji was about to speak, Nero suddenly raised her hand to interrupt him.

"Come here, I have something to tell you in private!"

She directly grabbed Eiji's arm and led him to a corner of the dojo, where the two of them started whispering.

"I've done thorough research. You don't seem to like attending classes, and in the Student Council, you don't have to worry about attendance at all. You can skip whenever you want."

"Is there really such a benefit?"

"Of course! The Student Council of Type-Moon Academy holds far more power than you imagine!"

Nero's thoughts became more animated.

Type-Moon Academy had extremely deep roots.

There were many incredible secrets and legends about this place. Even as the daughter of Japan's number one financial conglomerate, she couldn't do as she pleased here. One could only imagine how deep the waters ran.

That being said, the power of the Roman Financial Group was no joke either. It was strong enough to rival the Type-Moon Academy Board of Directors, which meant the Student Council, controlled by the Roman Financial Group, had authority far beyond that of the teachers.

Student Council members didn't need to care about attendance at all. Just joining guaranteed graduation, and they could even receive recommendation letters to prestigious universities.

Of course, if they encountered a strict Spartan-like teacher like Scáthach, they could only consider themselves unlucky.

Eiji couldn't help but feel tempted.

"Also, I heard your family isn't very wealthy, so I can cover all your expenses in the future. I can even take care of your family, because obviously, your family will be my family in the future!"

Duang!

It was as if a giant hammer had struck Eiji's chest.

Listen! Such sweet and sincere words!

"I'm not someone who worships money."

Eiji furrowed his brows, putting on the expression of a man unwilling to let his soul be corrupted by wealth.

"But your sincerity has truly moved me, so I've decided to join the Student Council!"

"Umu! I am always sincere!"

Nero nodded in satisfaction, her face blooming with joy.

"In that case, come to the Student Council room after school today. I'll introduce you to the other members, and we can discuss the details then!"

After finalizing the plan, Nero puffed out her chest and left the Kendo Club dojo, shooting Artoria a victorious smirk before striding away under everyone's gaze.

"So... the God has been taken by the President?"

"Damn, I'm so jealous!"

"It's over. I've just been dumped."

What kind of nonsense were they saying?

How could this be considered me being taken?

This was clearly a case of a rich woman submitting beneath my jeans!

"Never thought I'd end up living off a woman in another world."

Eiji sighed, feeling deeply emotional.

"If you were in ancient times, you'd definitely be a Helen of Troy or a Yang Guifei."

As she left, Scáthach dropped a rather peculiar remark.

"Of course, even in modern times, you're still remarkable. Or maybe even in the future... I look forward to seeing more surprises from you."

Her gaze carried an inexplicable amusement, clearly enjoying the unfolding drama.

"Uh, about joining the Kendo Club..."

Artoria, grasping at the last thread of hope, looked at Eiji with an almost pitiful expression.

"Farewell!"

Eiji clasped his hands together and disappeared from the Kendo Club like the wind.

All that was left was the "Flower of the Kendo Club," standing frozen in the wind like a defeated dog.

The daytime hours passed like a fleeting moment.

The day's classes quickly came to an end. Eiji spent the day in boredom, and as soon as the dismissal bell rang, he left the classroom without a shred of guilt, ignoring his friend Achilles's betrayed expression that seemed to scream, "You abandoned me, bro!"

"Damn, is this building really this huge?"

After asking two random students for directions, Eiji arrived at the Student Council office building.

Yes, the Student Council had an entire building to itself!

Though only two stories high, the architecture was far more grand and luxurious than the faculty building. The walls and eaves were built with white marble, and at the entrance, several round columns supported the structure, evoking the style of an ancient Greek temple.

How many people are even in this Student Council? Did it really need to be as extravagant as a palace?

Eiji walked up and knocked on the massive double doors, painted a deep mahogany color and standing over twice a person's height.

"Coming, coming!"

A lively female voice came from within.

Moments later, the doors creaked open, revealing an interior that looked just like a royal palace hall.

A grand staircase led to the second floor, splitting into left and right wings. A massive chandelier hung from the ceiling, and thick red carpets covered the floor. The hall was decorated with various paintings, porcelain vases, and other luxurious ornaments.

"Welcome, God-sama."

The person greeting him at the door was a beautiful woman dressed in a maid outfit.

She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, tall and curvaceous, with flawless fair skin. Her chestnut-colored hair cascaded down her back, and the low-cut collar of her maid outfit exposed a deep scar on her chest. She exuded an air of seductive charm, reminiscent of a dancer.

Upon seeing Eiji, she paused briefly, her gaze flickering before curving into a perfect maid-like smile as she playfully greeted him.

"You are?"

She seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite recall.

"Mata Hari, the young lady's personal maid."

The maid gracefully bowed slightly, causing certain assets to jiggle as if taunting him with a silent "Come at me head-on, if you dare."

Do all the Roman household maids have proportions like this? Can I order one to take home?

No ulterior motives. It's just that my bed gets a bit cold at night.

"Please, come in. The young lady and the rest of the Student Council have been waiting for you."

Mata Hari turned elegantly, her movements so fluid that her skirt fluttered like a brief dance.

She led Eiji up the stairs toward the second floor.

Upon reaching the leftmost end of the hallway, she stopped before yet another set of grand double doors.

Pushing them open, she made a gesture of invitation and ushered Eiji into the Student Council room.

Inside, two figures were already waiting for him.
