"Hmm?" Buu, who had been wearing his usual carefree smirk, narrowed his eyes the moment he sensed Nox's energy. His expression turned serious—he could feel it now, Nox was giving off a dangerous vibe.
"Heh heh~~ Even if you've gotten all scary and serious, I'm not afraid of you! Blub-blub~~" Buu looked at Nox, then suddenly stretched his mouth wide with both hands and stuck out his tongue mockingly.
"Hmph! An idiot like you having that kind of power? Absolutely unforgivable!" Nox growled, veins bulging with rage. He leapt high into the air, and the flesh on his palm began to shift and detach, transforming into a sharp battle spear. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled it straight at Buu. "A creature like you should just go die already!"
Buzz! The black spear shot out with blinding speed, wrapped in a layer of golden energy. Like a beam of golden light, it pierced straight through Buu's chest! The force of the blow was so immense that his torso exploded into pieces—his upper and lower body torn apart. Buu's pupils shrank, and with an expression of disbelief, he collapsed. "So… strong…"
"Hmph! That's the price of opposing me!" Nox sneered as he looked down at Buu's shattered form on the ground. He didn't notice that despite Buu's pained cries and look of terror, his life force hadn't diminished at all. In fact, he was perfectly fine, just lying there motionless.

Just as Nox believed the fight was over, Buu's face twisted from agony to mischief. The broken pieces of his body merged back together in moments, restoring him completely.
"Huh? He can regenerate like that? He's clearly not a normal being… Could he be like me—a android?" Nox stared at Buu, visibly surprised.
"Wahaha~~ You can't kill me!" Buu flipped up like a carp springing from water, standing proud with a smug grin. He flexed his tiny arms, flaunting himself like a champion.
"Hmph! Can't die, huh?" A cold glint flashed through Nox's eyes. In an instant, he lunged at Buu once more.
"Hey!" Buu grinned wide, and without moving his feet, punched straight at the oncoming Nox.
Nox's entire body surged with golden energy, his fist slamming down like a mountain made of gold. Their punches collided with an earth-shaking boom, blasting a crater several hundred meters wide into the ground. Mountains shattered, magma erupted from the depths of the earth, and fire rained down from the sky!
Their battle grew even more intense—punches flying at lightning speed, energy blasts shooting from their palms like lasers, tearing massive holes into the earth. In just moments, the entire battlefield had become a sea of fire, magma spewing in every direction, flames soaring skyward, and thick black smoke blanketing the skies. He had trained for what felt like ages in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, hoping to finally catch up to Goku. But as soon as he came out, he ran into these two monsters—Buu and Nox. The blow to his pride was immense, and it showed on his face.
"Not Goku?" Krillin and the others were stunned. They concentrated and sensed again. "He really doesn't feel like Goku. His energy does resemble Goku's, but there are other strange energies in there—it's chaotic."
"Besides, Goku's eyes would never look so fierce and twisted… Look, they're even bloodshot!"
"So Goku's not back yet? Then… what should we do? Keep watching or get out of here?"

Nox was now panting heavily. Maintaining Super Saiyan 3 consumed too much energy. Although it granted him overwhelming power, the cost was enormous. He was reaching his limit.

In an instant, they clashed again. But Nox's punch suddenly morphed into a sharp longsword mid-strike. With a flash, it sliced Buu's entire arm clean off!
Slash slash slash!
Nox followed up with rapid slashes, his golden blade flickering like lightning. He cut Buu into chunks and finished with a powerful energy blast that incinerated every piece—except for a severed arm that landed nearby.
"This trash… actually made me waste this much effort."
Nox snorted coldly, reverting from Super Saiyan 3. He immediately began gasping for breath—his energy almost completely depleted. Turning around, he took to the sky, preparing to leave.
At that moment, the severed arm on the ground twitched, swelled, and began to reshape. Buu revived once again. From behind, he reached out and drove his hand straight through Nox's back.
Nox's eyes widened in shock. He turned his head with difficulty to see the smirking Buu behind him, disbelief in his eyes. "You… you're still not dead?!"
"I'm not that easy to kill," Buu pouted. "And I'm hungry… I'll just turn you into chocolate and eat you!" As he spoke, the antenna on his head rose and pointed at Nox, preparing to transform him.
"Hmph! You think you can eat me? You'll need more than that!" Nox scoffed and thrust out both palms. A black vortex appeared in each hand, and a powerful suction force pulled Buu's energy toward him.
"M-My energy… You bastard…" Buu growled, furious. His antenna sparked, preparing a counterattack, but Nox was faster. Twin beams fired from his eyes and boom!—Buu's antenna was obliterated, half his head blown apart.
"You freak! I'll absorb you instead! I'll suck you in!" Buu's eyes turned feral, and Nox's hands—still gripping Buu—began to melt into him as Buu activated his own absorption ability.
"Huh? So you can do that too? Fine! Let's see who lasts longer!" Nox roared, energy flaring as his hair turned golden and lightning crackled around him—he had entered Super Saiyan 2! Super Saiyan 3 took too long to charge, so this was the best he could manage.
One was stealing energy at a terrifying rate. The other was trying to absorb his opponent's body. The two locked into a deadly stalemate.
Buu's energy was draining fast. Soon, he was visibly weakening, and his suction ability faltered. His stomach wobbled and split open, shooting out a giant sheet of flesh like a net, trying to ensnare Nox.
"Damn it!" Nox cursed, sensing danger. He unleashed a surge of energy that shattered the flesh net and leapt away. Luckily, Buu had already been greatly weakened—if not, escaping might have been impossible.
"Ha ha ha~~ You're running out of steam! Let's see how you keep fighting me now!" Nox laughed wildly and flashed forward, punching Buu and sending him flying!
Buu rose from the dust and lunged, only to be kicked away again. Now drained of energy, he was no match for Nox. Having absorbed much of Buu's power, Nox was back at full strength and launched a relentless barrage, not giving Buu a moment to recover.
The landscape around them was devastated—mountains overturned, magma erupted, firestorms raged, and black smoke filled the skies. It was an apocalyptic scene.
Boom!
Another powerful roundhouse kick from Nox sent Buu flying, blasting a crater into the ground. Magma surged up from beneath and shot straight into the air beside Buu's rear end. His butt instantly caught fire, glowing red-hot as he howled in pain.
"You bastard! I'll kill you! I'll kill you! Damn you! Damn you! You're too much!! Aaaaahhhh!!" Enraged beyond reason, Buu's body began spewing thick white smoke into the sky.
"Ugh… ugh… Damn… How did it come to this…? I'm gonna die… Damn it…"
Buu suddenly began writhing in agony, struggling to contain something. The white smoke pouring from his head became even denser, erupting with a loud whoosh.
"Oh? Feeling regret and fear because you're about to die?" Nox stood before him, sneering. "Yeah, that look suits you. That's what you get for going up against me!"
