Bree banged her hands on the steering wheel. She had parked her car not far from the convenience store and could see everything that was happening. Her eyes never left Lucas, who had pinched Mia on the cheek. Poison flooded through her heart and veins as she stared at the horrible sight in front of her.
Years! She had been chasing after Lucas for years, and not once did he ever look at her with that gaze with which he was staring at Mia. why? Why though? Why could that woman receive the love she couldn't even attain after devoting herself to Lucas in every way and form?
