Mia frowned upon hearing Taryn's words. She said to her, "Are you sure this is okay? I don't mean anything but Taryn; don't forget that you, too, can become the next victim of the murderer if you are not careful." Mia didn't mean anything wrong or harsh by saying these words to Taryn.
She was only looking out for her because she was her friend, and Mia was worried about her. With Taryn having blonde hair, she wondered if the murderer would set out to look for her, as her face was all over the news. Something that scared and terrified Mia, for she took Taryn as her sister, rather than just her best friend.
"Me? I will be fine. Unless that fucker wants to get a taste of my pepper spray plus the wrath that he will have to face if he were to ever come in front of me, he will stay away from me," said Taryn with a confident tone.
