Cassandra finally sat down next to Atlas on the cold snow on the bench and then placed her hand on Atlas's hand and asked, "What kind of things?"
Atlas, filled with joy and relief at knowing Cassandra was by his side, looked into her eyes and replied, "He said that I changed everyone's fate but locked mine away."
As Cassandra tried to figure out what this meant, Atlas smiled bitterly and said, "Every step I take, every breath I take, and everything I do brings about my own end, Cassandra." For the first time, Atlas addressed Cassandra directly by her name.
This alone was enough to demonstrate the stark difference in the feeling.
"If this continues… I'm telling you I'll die," Atlas said, and those words were enough for everyone.
