He looked at Elektra's crew. "Know any other way out of this dump?"
They all shook their heads.
If they did, they'd be gone already!
Why stick around?
"You wanna leave?"
Azuma Shoyo asked.
Wolverine nodded at him.
"Yeah—got a way?"
He wasn't hopeful, but Azuma Shoyo nodded.
"Yep."
"You can get out of this hellhole?!"
They stared, shocked.
Deadpool, mid-tantrum, lunged at him.
Azuma Shoyo sidestepped, letting him faceplant.
"Yeah, yeah! You do the circle thing! The circle!!"
Deadpool yelled, lifting his head.
"Thought you forgot."
Azuma Shoyo smirked, slipping on the ring.
"Isn't that Cassandra's?"
Pyro said.
"Yep—nabbed it from her."
Azuma Shoyo grinned, opening a portal to Deadpool's universe.
"So that's what you stole from Cassandra?"
Elektra recalled Juggernaut and Azazel raging about him swiping something, pissing Cassandra off and making them her punching bags.
"Not stole—took!"
Azuma Shoyo corrected.
Everyone, "…"
"So what you were after was this too?"
Gambit stared at Deadpool and Wolverine, baffled.
Wolverine shrugged—he didn't know.
Deadpool scrambled up, bolted through the portal, and vanished.
"Let's go—you coming?"
Azuma Shoyo said to the rest.
He stepped through, landing on the other side.
"I'm back!"
Deadpool stood in the street, yelling like a lunatic.
Passersby gawked.
The portal spat out the others one by one.
Soon—
Everyone was through.
Azuma Shoyo closed it—no need for random freaks spilling out.
Cassandra?
He'd track her later.
She's like a firefly in the dark—easy to spot.
No hassle.
"Go on—aren't you saving your world?"
Azuma Shoyo said to Deadpool, still hollering.
"Right—almost forgot!"
Deadpool snapped to, scanning around, then pointed at a subway entrance.
"There!"
He charged, shouting.
"Hey! Who's wrecking your world?"
Pyro chased, yanking Deadpool's arm, curious.
The rest followed toward the subway.
