"Now, you might be wondering, 'He was a quirkless kid and now he has haki. How is he going to explain it if someone looked into his background?'. This is normal and even I had this concern. That's why I started looking into the laws of this world when I was applying for UA.
That's when I found a very convenient law that stated 'Every citizen must register their quirk when they manifest it. Failing to do so can be considered a crime. To preserve people's privacy, no person, entity, or a governing body is allowed to access a person's quirk records unless he consents to it or is declared a villain.'
So yeah, although my records show that I am quirkless, no one can find out that I was quirkless. Even if someone investigates my past, I could just say that I was hiding my powers. It was this law that also protected Midoriya and Aoyama from being investigated for suddenly having quirks.
I also found a lot of laws for quirkless citizens that could be useful in the future, like do you know that quirkless citizens have to pay less taxes. I didn't know about this and since the legal owner of the dojo is Arashi till I turn 18, I was getting the profits after they were taxed.
I know that using these advantages might raise some doubts, but I don't have to worry about this till I turn 18 and by then, I am sure I will be strong enough to not care what anyone thinks about me." Kazuto was talking to himself while walking to UA. After a while, he arrived at UA and stopped at the entrance.
"Finally, a new chapter in my life begins. Get ready villains, especially All for one, Kazuto is going to kick your asses." Kazuto says to himself while standing at the UA gate and staring at the huge building in front of him. He was already done with the written exam and it was time for the practical test.
"Remember, you cannot get anything less than the first rank in this test. You've worked hard for this, you can casually do bicep curls with 0.5 ton dumbbells without even sweating, and you can also use haki. If even then you can't come first, it is better to just die. You..." Kazuto was talking to himself when he was interrupted by a kid who said "Move aside weirdo. Bastard already wet his pants."
Kazuto moved to his right and a kid with spiky blonde hair walked past him. Kazuto looked at the kid and immediately recognised him.
"No doubt. That grumpy attitude, the lazy walk with his hands in his pockets and his aggressive talk. It has to be Bakugo." Kazuto said to himself with excitement.
Bakugo didn't even spare another glance at Kazuto and walked towards the exam hall. Kazuto looked at Bakugo as he walked past a kid with green hair, who was nervously talking to a girl with short brown hair. Kazuto said "I should also get to the exam hall. It's almost time for the briefing. I missed the iconic scene of Midoriya and Uraraka meeting."
Kazuto got to the examination hall for the briefing. The hall was almost full, with only a few empty seats in the last row. Kazuto took his seat and after a few minutes, pro hero Present Mic entered the hall.
The hall, which was filled with murmurs from students, suddenly went completely silent. Present Mic looked at the students, who were mostly nervous.
He then said "To all the examinees here, welcome to my live performance. Everybody say 'Hey'." in a broken rap, but there was no response from the audience. Complete silence from the nervousness.
Present Mic sighed and said "That was cold. Anyways, I will give you a quick rundown of the practical exam..."
He then went on explaining about the 10 minute practical test where there will be 7 centres and all students will be divided amongst them. There would be 3 types of robots who act as villains. Different robots have different points from 1 to 3.
Then a kid raised his hand and shouted "I have a question." Present Mic turned to him and said "Ok".
The kid got up and said "In this printout, it says there are four villains. If this is an error, it would be a great shame on Japan's best....."
Kazuto was looking at the kid, who had neatly combed hair and glasses. He said to himself "I can't believe I am actually seeing an anime I watched play out in real life. This is crazy."
The kid with glasses, Ida, then turned to the boy with messy green hair, Midoriya "You with the messy hair. Your endless murmuring is disturbing." Ida then takes his seat.
Midoriya immediately stiffened and apologized. Present Mic said "Okay, Okay. Thanks for pointing that out. The fourth robot is worth 0 points. It is just a gimmick causing ruckus at the centre. You can defeat it, but it is of no use. I advise you to avoid these."
Ida bent and said "Thank you" and sat down. Present Mic then continued "That's it for the briefing. Now, I will bestow upon you our school motto. Over and beyond, PLUS ULTRA."
"PLUS ULTRA" Kazuto shouted in his head. "Chills, literal chills. I still can't believe this is happening." Kazuto said to himself in excitement.
Present Mic then left the hall and they were asked to head outside where their respective buses would take them fk their centre. They were allowed to get anything they wanted and Kazuto brought his Bokuto.
While boarding his bus, he looked around to see if he could recognise anyone from the show and he saw a huge bulky guy who was holding a bag full of sugar cubes.
"Is that Sato?" Kazuto wondered. Kazuto got into the bus and they arrived at their exam centre. While Kazuto was getting down, a typical textbook bully commented "Did you seriously get a wooden stick to fight against metal robots?"
Kazuto knew it was best to ignore these idiots. If he replied and they say something that pisses him off, he would definitely beat them up.
So, he controlled himself and started thinking of strategies to defeat the robots. "With my strength and my haki, I should be able to deal with those robots without any issue." Kazuto said to himself.
Done strategizing, he looked at the exam centre properly. It was basically a huge city with a huge door at the start. "This is were all our taxes end up." Kazuto said to himself.
People were murmuring, introducing themselves, measuring each other out and planning strategies. Then the huge gates to the mini unpopulated city opened and heard Present Mic through a speaker shout "Okay. Start."
A few of them were confused while Kazuto immediately ran inside, his speed surprising many people there. Seeing him run and no one stopping him, everyone else rushed into the city.
Kazuto immediately activated his observation haki and was able to scan half the city. He had already memorized where the robots were and how he needed to go.
Kazuto then turned off his observation haki and coated his Bokuto with haki. He avoided the starting robots to distract other examinees. He headed to the middle part of the city and found his first robot, worth 2 points.
The robot sensed him and immediately started swinging its arms around to hit Kazuto, who effortlessly dodged them. Kazuto then saw an opening and punched it in the head.
Sparks erupted from different parts of the robot. Kazuto jumped back and the robot exploded.
Kazuto didn't waste anymore time and immediately headed towards the nearest robot.
With his observation and armament haki, he was clearing out robots at alarming pace. This caught the attention of the teachers observing from the observation room.
Cementoss looked at Kazuto and commented "He is strong. He has superhuman strength."
Nezu, the principal commented "He also has some way of sensing the robots. He is able to correctly locate them."
Midnight commented in her usual flirty tone "This year students are quite promising."
All might looked at the screen of a boy with messy green hair frantically running around and said in his head 'Young Midoriya'.
Back to the exam centre, Kazuto was basically wiping them out. "With this, I am at 75 points. I should slowly down a little and also focus on the rescue points instead of pure combat points." Kazuto said to himself.
Kazuto then scanned the area and there were only four robots worth three points each. He quickly finished them and headed back to where the other examinees were. He was now at 87 points.
Everyone in the centre had discovered that Kazuto had cleared out the robots in the centre of the city and were frantically running around near the entrance itself to find robots.
When they saw Kazuto, everyone glared at him, but they didn't have that much time. In the observation room, the teachers looked at the timer, which was at 2 minutes and Nezu then reached out to a red button, which was covered by a plastic case to avoid any accidental trigger.
Nezu lifted the plastic case and pressed the button. In every exam centre, the ground trembled and students started panicking. From the ground, a huge robot rose up and when it was done, it was tovering over the buildings.
"Is that the zero pointer?" A kid shouted.
"This is too much." another kid shouted.
They all started screaming and running while Kazuto instead walked towards the robot. The robot was also heading towards the students, its huge body destroying buildings on the way.
The robot stopped near Kazuto and raised its hand to slam it down on Kazuto. Kazuto effortlessly dodged by jumping back and as soon as the robot slammed its arm on the ground, the shockwave made a small crater around the arm and dust rose to the air, making a dust cloud.
The students had all stopped in their tracks and were looking at Kazuto. The same could be said about the teachers in the observation hall. Everyone were focused on the screen to see how the kid with the highest combat points was going to deal with the zero pointer.
The dust cloud wasn't an issue for Kazuto. He immediately ran towards the arm and jumped onto it. He started running on it and when he was high enough on the arm, the teachers and the students could see Kazuto, who was running towards the head with his Bokuto in his hand.
The teachers in the observation hall also noticed another screen where a girl was trapped under debris and a boy was running towards her.
Everyone focused on these two screens, curiouand excited to see what would happen.
Kazuto jumped towards the head of the robot, dodging a swing at him from the robot's other arm.
Kazuto clenched his Bokuto with all his might, coated it with haki. He raised his sword and screamed at the top of his lungs "Black Fang" executing a downward slash.
At the same time, Midoriya, jumped into the air, shooting up like a bullet and when he was in front of the robot, he clenched his fists and punched it with all his might and his quirk.
The slash cut through the metal and left a huge 2 feet deep cut. Sparks started coming from the robot and within seconds, it exploded.
With Midoriya, his lunch sent the robot back and it was followed by sparks from all over its body. Within seconds, it exploded.
Since Midoriya had punched it back, he wasn't affected by the explosion, but Kazuto was there when the explosion happened. He coated his whole body with haki, but the shockwave from the explosion sent him flying into the building.
The teachers in the observation hall were surprised at what they saw. Nezu said "For the first time, two students have destroyed the zero pointers in a practical exam. This year candidates are full of surprises."
Back to Kazuto, the students in the exam centre all looked at the hole in the second floor wall of a building, eagerly waiting.
Then, through the dust cloud, they could see a figure walk out. He stopped at the edge and as the dust cleared, they could see him, Kazuto with dust all over his face and red hair. His clothes destroyed in the explosion and barely covered the important parts. His perfectly toned body like the Greek gods, his red hair swaying to the wind and his aura that reflected his strength, resulted in mixed reactions from the audience.
A few girls were screaming inside, including Midnight in the observation hall. All the girls were blushing while the boys were jealous of his physique.
They just looked at him until a guy started cheering for Kazuto, which soon spread throughout the crowd. Aizawa looked at the screens of Bakugo, Midoriya and Kazuto with no expression on his face.
Kazuto looked at the cheering crowd and said to himself "That was crazy. I can still hear my heartbeat. I can't believe I destroyed that huge robot. I never felt this excited since the day I was reborn. I don't care if anyone thinks me screaming the name of my move is cring, because I worked hard for this and I will do what I like."
Kazuto then jumped down from the building and the UA staff were already clearing the exam centre. One staff member gave me a jacket to cover myself and all the girls were glaring at him. If looks could kill, he would've died a lot of times. The staff member muttered "I was just doing my job" which only Kazuto heard and thanked him for the jacket.
In the bus back to the UA main gate, he was practically surrounded by everyone in the bus. Everyone gathered around him and started asking various questions about his powers. Some girls were brave enough and started touching his arms.
Kazuto was never used to this much fame and nervously answered their questions, keeping his haki a secret.
When the bus arrived, he immediately slipped past the group of students around him and ran back home.
After a week, he received a letter from UA. He opened it and took out a disk from it. When he placed the disk on his table, the disk projected a video.
All might appears with a flashy background you would see in a lottery advertisement and says "Young Kazuto, you have displayed exceptional qualities, all befitting a hero. You have scored the highest in the villain points. That alone would put you first amongst all the examinees, but you also dealt with the zero pointers that was terrorizing the city and stopped it from causing further damage. For that you were awarded...."
He turns on a screen and shows him the leaderboard. His name was first, above Bakugo, who had 77 villain points and zero rescue points. He then saw his rescue points 25. With his 87 villain points, he now had a total of 112 points.
All might's pecks cover the screen and he says with a revealing tone "25 points. That brings you to a total of 112 points. You have the highest score in the history of UA. You even beat me by one point. This is the start of your journey and I am sure you will only get stronger further. Welcome to UA High school."
The message ends and he puts away the disk. Kazuto got up and screamed at the top of his lungs "I am going to UA."
His neighbours immediately shouted back, "Shut up. I can't hear the TV with all the screaming."
Kazuto immediately knocked them out with conquerors haki. He then called Arashi and Kenji, his only family, to inform them about the results. They congratulated him and Arashi invited him over to celebrate, calling Kenji too.
A/N: I know I didn't explain just how strong Kazuto is. In the next chapter, when Aizawa does the tests on his first day, I will give you an idea on how strong he is compared to others in his class.
