Chapter 4 the entrance exam

It's time waking up in the field. Iris was watching me sleep as usual, her silver gunmetal hair covering her face "ready for the exam" yeah! Going back to the mansion still sends me in awe. I put clothes on a tight under shirt and tight pants complimenting my skin and body's physique these past few months made me look really handsome. Do I look handsome? "No" the woman says deadpan wow you're harsh iris wearing the same thing with a white top and pants basic much but applauds her tiny body walking outside the manor me and iris step inside the carriage iris sitting on the seat opposed of me as I slump down in the seat I close my eyes. "We're here young master regulars" iris taps to wake me up why you calling me that again "my apologies" no it's okay I just woke up stepping outside the carriage to view the academy.This world never keeps astonishing me the magic academy lionard it was huge I didn't know how to describe it. After a few paces forward me and iris arrived inside to see Reinhard there he is "this year it seems we have weak people trying to attend the academy I pity you being so weak and pitiful" as the huge man was about to hit the white haired young man I grabbed his huge hand marked with scars. Hey stop that you look pathetic " you pathetic emp how dare you- people whispering and gazing it's regulus rosefield "I'm sorry" the big man running off to the other side of the academy entry. Are you okay? I ask him "yeah" that's good "thank you for helping us" a girl with blonde hair and emerald eyes standing beside him abnormally close. This girl was Claire Reinhard's childhood friend but later becomes one of the heroines catching feelings for him. I shake his hand with a headache and a nauseous feeling. Am I sick? I quickly let go and walked off "thank you!" Your welcome as I walk slowly iris following like a shadow "are you okay reg" yes of course. I can't let this happen, not during the start of the story I have to win male students to the changing room. A loud voice came on the speakers and females to the woman dorms to change into uniform "see you later" you too. About Thirty minutes later I met up with Iris THE FIRST ROUND REGULUS ROSEFIELD VS ONTARIO REINHARD a large voice sounding over the area "win" Iris mumbling I will. Walking on the ARENA I see Reinhard with his beaming red eyes staring at me "hope it's a good match" ROUND 1 start! Boom! My sword slash across his face sending the boy flying and the students gasping what was that sudden bloodlust entangling me CURSE HEAL! Crushing the mana in my hand turning the same dark green from before the magic circles appears engulfing the area Stop! His body sprawling in horrible agony screaming out heart wrenching painful screams on the hard grey arena ground water drops hits my face it started raining this only increased the urge and pent up anger a sudden feeling to feel superior picking him up by the uniforms collar I wanted to bash his head in to show everyone that I was the better fighter no! The hatred kept rising like boiling water ready to spill. I apply wind mana to my fist causing light green particles to flail around my fist punching his gut GASP! I knocked the air out of his lungs and cursed heal was still on. The buff was applying to me and the referee took every last drop of mana from Reinhard like an oversized slug. I gathered the wind mana again, the particles hovering around me now going to my fist with a silent hum. I strike again CRACK! The area floor split with such force I thought I broke his ribs. It seemed he blacked out "STOP PLEASE" Claire glaring at me with pleading eyes. I turned back to Ontario, his white hair now stained with his own blood, his face now a former mess of what it once was. It happened again and regulus appeared behind me. Am I losing my sanity? "show them that there are just commoners at the end of the day" stop "make an example out of him. Accept me as part of you it's obvious this brings you pleasure" no it doesn't! " don't lie to yourself" snapping back to reality horrified to find Reinhard still in my grasp, cursed, still activated too. Reinhard half dead, his hair now dark red filled with his blood, did I do this. Ontario's friend glaring at me eyes filled with hatred I stared up at the dark eerie sky my vision blurring as curse heal drained my mana and strained my body gasping for air" you don't deserve it" that horrid voice again in my head REGULUS ROSEFIELD WINS!. My body falls limp until my consciousness leaves my body.I slightly opened my eyelids to see an unfamiliar roof "this is the infirmary" oh lifting up off the brick like bed where is Iris? "Her match just started" Thank you I closed the curtains around the bed to have time to myself. The story has just begun and I already ruined the prologue of Reinhard path. I'm really a trash bag.But i I couldn't care less about the main cast but a few months after the exam the academy was destroyed by a group of dragons,Reinhard ends up stopping them but not without consequences. If this doesn't change, everyone will die. I will stop it and restore my reputation as Regulus Rosefield but not enough to change the main storyline.
