I feel her yank the scarf off my body, and I shut my eyes as fireworks of excitement burst through me.
She did it!
She finally did it. Oh, this is going to be so satisfying!
The whole lawn ripples with gasps, but the most satisfying is the one that rips from Liriel's lips.
The sound of pure shock and disbelief.
"Oh, goodness! My lady!" I hear Meadow exclaim, and I turn back to Liriel with a smirk on my face.
Her eyes widen. However, my smirk only lasts a second as the show has to go on.
"What have you done, Liriel!? This is inappropriate to be seen by others!"
I scold her as I try to 'cover' the marks, and she staggers back in shock. Gawking at me like I've sprouted wings.
"Wh…what?!" She stutters in disbelief as Meadow rushes to me, and I am fighting with my life not to ruin everything by exploding with laughter.
"Ho… how did you get those marks?!" She demands. Pointing at me like I have some abominable sickness, and I raise a brow at her.
