Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: Uchiha Clan Rebellion!

[Ding - Congratulations, Host, on ending the Chaos Event: Uchiha Madara's Rebellion — Completion: S+]

[Reward: Bloodline Limit - Ice Release, 20,000 Peace Points, 5 Kakashi Chakra units]

"Oh, not bad! The rewards are pretty good! It wasn't for nothing that I worked hard for a year."

The Ice Release and 5 units of chakra merged into Torifū's body without causing any discomfort, like eating a popsicle. He only felt a lot cooler.

[Name]Kumotsuru Torifū

[Age]7

[Strength]Elite Jonin

[Chakra]Ten Units

[Bloodline]Crystal Release, Cloud Release, Ice Release

[Talent]All-Attribute Chakra, Genius

[Peace/Chaos Value]34300 / 4

Looking at his stats panel, Torifū felt very happy. But he's clearly still within the duration of the Ancestor Experience Card, yet he can view his own panel? Torifū didn't bother thinking about it.

His current strength has completely reached the level of an elite jonin, and his chakra is already very vast. In the current ninja world, apart from Kage-level powerhouses, other ninjas no longer pose a threat to Torifū.

Huff, Torifū exhaled lightly. Resolving the major problem of Uchiha Madara's rebellion has brought Torifū one step closer to a truly peaceful life. During the Ancestor Experience Card, Torifū truly understood what a real powerhouse is.

Catching the Nine-Tails was as easy as catching a doll. Any random jutsu could seal the Nine-Tails, and very securely!

You should know that even jinchuriki have times of weakness, and the tailed beast can use this to escape the seal. And Torifū, in his current state, could release the Myriad Celestial Array, a world-destroying attack, hundreds or thousands more times.

Laughable, really. His chakra reserves were practically bottomless. He had countless other techniques with nowhere to use them—because he wasn't about to erase the Land of Fire from the shinobi world map. The Myriad Celestial Array was already considered a relatively weak jutsu.

The more it was like this, the more curious Torifū became about the ancestor's origins. Before, it was all Torifū's wild guesses, but they were probably somewhat reasonable. It's just that only the ancestor would truly know what it was really like. It's a pity that the old man has probably already turned into dust or returned to his original world.

It's only been three hours since he exchanged for the Ancestor Experience Card. He originally thought it would take a lot of effort to deal with Uchiha Madara, but he didn't expect that the ancestor's move showed who was the real deal!

With a single move, he annihilated Uchiha Madara—well, not quite annihilated, since Black Zetsu managed to save him at the last moment.

Still, the event rating was S+, and nothing had gone catastrophically wrong. Torifū could live with that.

He had to admit, though—Madara's Susanoo was damn cool. That thing radiated the kind of domineering aura only a true powerhouse could pull off.

But when Torifū's own life was on the line? Sorry, no amount of Gundam cosplay would save you from getting smashed to bits.

It's better for others to die than for oneself to die. As the saying goes, 'better a dead friend than a dead me,' that's the principle.

Besides, Madara had been about to attack the village. As the Hokage's disciple, Torifū had every reason to stop him.

"Told you. Konoha's doomed without me."

For a second, he considered using the remaining time on the Ancestor Experience Card to go have some fun.

But after some thought… Where would he even go?

…What if he just wiped out the other four Great Nations instead?

The idea took root, and suddenly, his mind was racing with plans—

Just as Torifū threw back his head to laugh and stride out the door—

[Ding—Chaos Event Triggered: Uchiha Clan Rebellion.]

???

"How the hell does this count as my responsibility?!"

No response. The system stayed silent.

It was like punching a pillow—the more force he put into his fury, the less satisfaction he got.

"You fucking system! Do you have any idea how grand my plans are?! I was this close to solo-clearing the entire finale!"

"And now you're making me do side quests?!"

At this point, he was convinced: The damn thing was reading his thoughts.

Why else would it drop a mission the second he finalized his world-domination strategy? It was scared he'd speedrun the plot!

Gritting his teeth, Torifū forced out the words:

"Fine. I'll do it. Happy now?!"

He couldn't risk being seen yet. If Hashirama spotted him back in the village, the whole act would collapse—and explaining would be a pain.

Worse, missions involving large groups were always volatile. One misstep, and his Chaos Value would spike.

That's why, for the past twelve months, Torifū had treated every chaos event like defusing a bomb.

With a flick of his sleeve, a solid-feeling white-feathered bird materialized by the window—then shot toward the Uchiha Compound.

"Let's assess the situation first. If Terumi listened to my advice, she should be fine."

He'd known tonight would be eventful. That's why he'd told her: 'Stick close to Kagami.'

"I hope it's not too late."

This whole setup had originally been meant to prevent the Uchiha clan's stubborn old fools from coordinating an inside job with Madara.

Who would've thought Madara's battle would end before the Uchiha even made their move? Torifū could only say that these people of the Uchiha clan really didn't know how to pick a time. Hashirama was probably almost at the village entrance now.

"They're practically begging to die."

Of course, Torifū's internal rant conveniently ignored one tiny detail—himself. What was supposed to be an all-night battle had been wrapped up in just an hour thanks to his interference. Who could've predicted that?

The white-feathered bird flew in the sky, transmitting everything it saw to Torifū's mind. Before long, it flew to the Uchiha clan grounds. Outside the clan grounds were some Senju clansmen who had rushed over after hearing the commotion, but they were stopped outside by the Uchiha.

Within the clan grounds, the Uchiha were clearly divided into two factions, presumably the Uchiha clan's hawk faction and dove faction. Both sides were holding weapons and facing each other, but Torifū saw an unexpected scene. The dove faction, which should have been the weaker side, now outnumbered the hawk faction!

Kagami stood behind his father and grandfather, holding Naori's hand. At this time, Naori must not be left alone in the house, as she could easily be taken hostage.

Uchiha Kai glared and roared madly, "Fifth Elder! Sixth Elder! You dare to betray us at this juncture! Have you thought about the consequences!"

The Fifth and Sixth Elders, who were named, cowered and dared not look directly at Uchiha Kai. Though nominally part of the hawk faction, the fifth and sixth elders had only joined for greater influence and wealth.

When Kai first proposed rebellion two days ago, they had hesitated—but under pressure, they reluctantly agreed. Then, just yesterday, Kagami had cornered them—alternately threatening and bribing until they switched sides. It can be said that these two people were completely fence-sitters, running to whichever side was profitable.

Kagami looked at the cowering appearance of the Fifth and Sixth Elders, his face full of disdain. If it wasn't for the stability of the clan, he wouldn't have bothered with these two useless elders.

If he killed five elders in one night, the clansmen would become estranged from the clan, so he couldn't do that.

Great Elder Uchiha Shintaro's Mangekyo Sharingan appeared in his eyes, and his chakra surged around him, a wave of pressure sweeping toward Uchiha Kai!

And Uchiha Kai also activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, a pale bone claw grabbing toward Shintaro!

"Die! Shintaro!"
