On 3/13/2025, at 00:10, using the team: Traveler - Anemo (level 80), Lisa (level 80), Noelle (level 70), Barbara (level 60).
I have completed Chapter V: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection.
Now I am one of the many people waiting for the release of Chapter VI - Snezhnaya.
If you want, you can read my opinion on Genshin Impact, if you are not interested you can go directly to read the story.
[I begin my monologue]
Personally, I've always thought of phone games as second-rate games, something you play because you don't have a console or want to kill time on the bus or something.
MiHoYo has changed my opinion radically.
Genshin Impact in its last two chapters (Natlan & Fontaine) has won me over and thrilled me in ways that dozens of films and video games have not done.
Fontaine with its architecture, robots, investigation-themed missions, the underwater prison, the underwater landscape, the side missions of Furina, Neuvillette, Navia. I'm not exaggerating, I almost cried during the Side Mission of Neuvillette.
Fontaine is my favorite village in Teyvat.
Natlan… I can't help but compare it to Avengers: Infinity War.
I started playing the Second Act of Natlan at half past six in the morning, the plot was so beautiful, that I couldn't stop, I stayed up past midnight to finish the story.
Natlan is packed with action and cutscenes that could fit into an anime. The whole story is worthy of a series finale. Personally, I think all the plot elements could have been used to make a game in themselves.
Zhongli is in serious danger of losing his position as my favorite Archon to Mavuika or Furina.
Twenty, I love you, you are a very cute Femboy and I want to write Yaoi stories with you and the Traveler, but you are last on my Archon list.

Act I: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind
Episode 2: A Consultant has arrived in Mondstadtt (II)
Chapter 5: Traveler VS Stormterror (Round I)
Plot: Thanks to the wind, Traveler and Paimon end up above the clouds of Mondstadt, not even a few seconds later, a fierce fight against Stormterror begins.
When the fight ends, the Traveler lands in the city of Mondstadt, where he meets Amber and a new individual who wants to speak with him.
XXX
POV Narrator
A very powerful gust of wind appeared in front of the statue of Barbatos.
This phenomenon catapulted a fairy, an "angel knight" and a dragon above the clouds.
"Huh? How did we get up here?" Paimon asks, miraculously managing to retain his sense of direction.
"I have used the power of a thousand winds to carry you above Mondstadt, so you can fight without harming anyone." Said a mysterious voice that speaks through the wind.
"Who... who said that!?" asks the little fairy, looking around, but seeing no one else except the Traveler and Stormterror.
"Barbatos, I see you have accepted my offer, I will take care of the dragon, in exchange I hope to see you tonight." Said the Traveler, wrapped in obsidian armor, his androgynous voice now sounding lower and more masculine.
"Haaaaaaaaa!" Stormterror screams, shooting a blast of wind from his jaws.
The Traveler moves quickly, using his free arm he grabs the little fairy and carries her like luggage under his left arm.
"Paimon thanks you, BB." The little fairy exclaims, as she is carried by her traveling companion.
"Little Fairy, you should use your little trick and disappear, I can't fight and defend you at the same time." Said the Traveler, as he uses his bat wings and the wind offered by Barbatos to dodge Stormterror's attacks.
If someone from Mondstadt had binoculars and looked up, they would see a black dot moving in a zigzag as the dragon tried to strike it.
"Paimon has many questions, but I understand. Paimon wishes you luck!" exclaims the little fairy, almost selling out to the Traveler's evasive maneuvers.
In a brief flash of blue light, the little fairy vanished, leaving behind only glitter that lasted a few seconds.
'Now I feel relieved.' Bruce thinks, as he flaps his wings to reach heights greater than Stormterror.
Within moments, Stormterror has to look up to spot his opponent.
And the stranger from another world must lower his gaze to keep his aim on the dragon.
'As much as it has always been helpful to have a companion/assistant at my side. Their presence has often prevented me from fighting to my full potential.' The Traveler thinks, while pointing his scepter at the mythical beast.
"Now, with no Paimon, no innocent souls or buildings nearby, I can fight without worrying about collateral damage." The Traveler said, a small smile under his helm.
Neon purple circuit-like symbols have appeared on the surface of the obsidian armor, a sign that the Planeswalker is expending his magical energy.
The Azure Dragon seeing the flash of purple light, opens its mouth, using its own Anemo Energy to charge a projectile.
The Blue Dragon, seeing the purple light, opens its mouth and uses its own Anemo Energy to charge up a strike.
"haaaa!" The Azure Dragon lets out a roar before firing its charged shot.
A huge sphere of Anemo-like energy has a spherical cyclone flies straight towards the Traveler.
"Stormterror or Dvalin, I don't care what your name is, but we're about to find out who is the stronger dragon between the two of us." The Traveler said in a calm voice, showing no concern for the enemy's attack.
"You, the Anemo Dragon, or I, the One-Eyed Black Dragon." The Traveler continues, as if to taunt his opponent.
The Black Cube above the Traveler glows for a second, creating a protective purple sphere made up of dozens of pentagons around its Master.
BOOM !
The Traveler remains unharmed, but his defensive barrier has been marred by a deep Crack.
'The defensive barrier, Epsilon, can only withstand three hits from Stormterror before it is destroyed.' The Traveler thinks, memorizing this information for the current and future fight.
Stormterror, unlike his opponent, wasted no time in reflecting or studying his challenger.
Instead, it flies straight at the Traveler, intending to finish it off with its jaws or claws.
'A frontal attack, simple and direct, its movements are guided by instinct and anger, no complex thought.' The Traveler thinks, as he flies backwards upwards, keeping his gaze fixed on the Anemo Dragon.
For the first minute of the fight, the stranger from another world seems to want to keep his distance and see what the Anemo Dragon is capable of.
"Haaaa!" The mythical beast screams, tired of chasing its target. It flares its wings with force, and catapults forward, leaving behind it, rushing winds.
"Finally, you show that you are not just an overgrown lizard." The Traveler said, channeling his magical energy into the Epsilon barrier to strengthen it.
SMASH !
Stormterror's head hit the defensive sphere with the Traveler inside.
The barrier shattered as if it were made of glass and Bruce was thrown somewhere in the sky like a baseball being hit by a bat.
"My heart begins to burn." The Traveler murmurs, shifting the wings of his cloak to steady himself.
Soon after, the cloak/wings spread out forming what looks like a large X.
"I would have preferred to fight dragon to dragon, unfortunately at the moment I am limited to this humanoid form." Comments the Traveler, with a small smile on his face under his helmet.
Magical energy is imbued into the cloak, causing it to appear colored like butterfly wings.
"But I'll have just as much fun using magic instead of a draconic form." The Traveler said, holding his scepter before him.
A medium-sized blue magic circle appeared in front of the Planeswalker's staff, a blue magic enchantment to enhance spells.
In front of the wings appeared four small sized red magic circles, red magic spells, the purpose is simply to cause damage and destruction.
'Before the seal, I could fill the sky with a hundred red spells of greater magnitude and scope, now I can only create eight low-level red spells, but the quality has remained that of a master.' The Traveler reflects on his current abilities.
Stormterror, not being lucid, repeated the attack from before.
The Anemo Dragon flew towards the Traveler.
Unfortunately, this time his opponent doesn't just want to defend himself, no, this time he wants to attack.
"Shall we see how strong your scales are?" asks the Traveler, releasing his spells.
The first to come into play was the blue magic which dispersed, joining the eight red spells, introducing an "extra component" into them.
Then, the red spells flew forward towards Stormterror as if they were guided missiles.
In a way they are, the red magic has the power of a rocket and the blue magic was used to coordinate and guide the attack towards their intended target.
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
BOOM !
The Traveler remains still in the sky and observes his work.
'Eight offensive spells of pure magical energy with no elements involved. Mirati has several different parts of the dragon's body, I see that they have caused more damage around the back, wings and legs.' The Traveler thinks, discovering where the most sensitive locations of Stormterror's body are.
"Haaaaaaaaa!" The Anemo Dragon screams in anger and pain from the damage it has suffered.
"A dragon's scales should make you vulnerable to most things, but it seems your defense leaves much to be desired, whether it's the poison or you were born that way, it remains a disadvantage I will use against you." The Traveler mutters, having no problem exploiting an enemy's weaknesses.
The Anemo Dragon flies straight towards the Traveler who is doing the same thing, it looks like they are both using a direct approach.
"I don't play by your rules." The Traveler said a few seconds before making contact with the dragon's muzzle.
The Traveler's cloak changes its composition from a garment to a means of weakening the dragon.
The cloak came to life and fell over Stormterror's face, becoming a sticky slime-like substance.
The Planeswalker is no longer flying, instead it is running over Dvalin's head, then down his neck, reaching his back.
"Let's see what happens if I strike here!" the Traveler exclaims, swinging his scepter as if it were a fighting staff.
SMASH!
The alien from another world struck the base of one of the crystals growing on Stormterror's back.
CRACK!
The crystal shattered, exposing a soft area of Dvalin's body.
"An opening!" the Traveler exclaims, stabbing his staff into the dragon's vulnerable spot.
SLASH
Dvalin's blood spurted out, the Traveler created an open wound!
The Anemo Dragon opens its jaws, clearing its face of sticky slime.
Instead of roaring in triumph, Stormterror screams in pain, immense pain.
On pure instinct, Stormterror began to roll in mid-air, wanting to knock the Traveler off his back.
The Traveler plummets to the ground, but he doesn't fall empty-handed, he's holding in his arms, a sizable fragment of the crystal that was sticking out of Stormterror's back.
'At first glance, the composition of this crystallized poison is comparable to the best works of Semiramis. But this is not the time to analyze it.' Bruce thinks, having little to do at the moment to understand the secrets of what he has taken from Stormterror.
A portion of the obsidian armor the Traveler is currently wearing dissolves, becoming a black liquid that surrounds the crystal shard. Then, the Daedalus Cube glows for a second and the "package" disappears.
High in the sky Stormterror screams and shouts, gripped by pain-induced madness.
The Traveler who is passing through the clouds sees the whole spectacle of suffering.
'I'm enjoying myself, but not as much as I could. My opponent is a pain-mad soul, he is not a worthy opponent, he deserves a quick and painless death.' Bruce thinks, having decided what to do next with Stormterror.
"Garuda." The Traveler speaks the name of the Eidon of the Wind of Ysatnaf, drawing upon a fragment of his divine blessing.
A pair of green ether wings appear around the Traveler, stopping his fall. In addition to his own magical energy, the ether wings also contain Anemo energy.
[Crack Crack]
The Traveler pauses for a second, placing a hand over his heart.
'I don't understand exactly what happened, but the seal has weakened, now I can use up to 9%.' Bruce thinks, feeling inside himself how the "chains" have weakened, releasing part of his arsenal.
"This will all be over soon, Dvalin." Said the Traveler, beginning to fly up towards the Anemo Dragon.
The ether wings have transformed into two small tornadoes that push the Traveler faster upwards.
The Planeswalker's mind replays a spell that can slay the Anemo Dragon with a single blow.
'Decades ago I set foot on Earth Land, I had a great time with the Mage Guild, Fairy Tail. But the most precious thing I gained from that journey was learning the magic that slays dragons.' The Traveler thinks, remembering how he studied and observed the Dragon Slayers.
The Traveler raises his scepter, holding it as if it were a spear.
"Sky Dragon Slayer Magic – Storm Spear!" the Planeswalker exclaims, using a magical art learned on a distant world.
The wind emitted by the Traveler with these words gained an anti-dragon property.
Around the top of the stick a concentrated wind point is forming, similar to an auger or halberd.
The Traveler lunges forward, aiming for Stormterror's head, wanting to finish him off in one hit.
From his experience 8 out of 10 times, destroying the head means instant death of the opponent.
It would all be over in the next few seconds, but...
"Stop!" Barbatos' cry was carried by the wind straight to the Traveler's ears.
This changed the trajectory of the Traveler's attack, instead of aiming straight between the eyes, it is now aiming for Stormterror's left horn.
SMASH!
CRACK !
The Anemo Dragon screams in pain, having lost one of its two horns.
A good part of the left horn broke into dozens of fragments, falling towards the city of Mondstadt.
But the tip of the horn remained intact and ended up in the Traveler's arms as a consolation gift.
"Why did you deflect my attack, I could have ended this right here and now." The Traveler asks, with a stern voice, flying high above the clouds, away from Stormterror's gaze.
"You would have killed Dvalin!" Barbatos exclaims, as if he were a girl whose dog had almost been run over.
"Your friend is a dragon and is suffering so much that he has become a rabid dog, a danger to himself and others." Said the Traveler, watching from above as Stormterror flies away.
"It would be a mercy to kill him if I don't do it, the poison will do that in the coming months." Said the Traveler, holding his scepter as if it were a javelin to be thrown.
The tip of his weapon is again enveloped in the wind.
"Please let Dvalin go away for now, we can heal him!" Barbatos declares, begging that the Traveler not attack Anemo's dragon.
"You are the Archon of Anemo, your realm, your rules." The Traveler said, canceling his magic and lowering his weapon.
"Thank you so much!" Barbatos exclaims in a voice full of relief.
"If you don't hold up your end of the bargain, the next time I see your friend I'll take his head." The Traveler declares, with a serious voice, agreeing to cooperate with the Archon of Anemo... for now.
"You're like Morax, break a contract and you'll be severely punished." Barbatos replies, using humor to lighten the mood.
"Breaking a pact has consequences, it's a natural act." The Traveler replies, still being the serious one.
"You would get along well with Morax. See you tonight at moonrise, bring something nice." Barbatos said, they sound like a girl flirting.
"But I'm a teetotaler." Comments the Traveler, crossing his arms.
Barbatos is not responding, connection is lost.
'I'll get some real answers tonight.' The Planeswalker thinks, starting to descend from the clouds.
XXX
With the dragon running away, Bruce landed in front of the statue of Barbatos, right where the fight began.
As soon as the Traveler hit the ground, a blue spark appeared around him, marking the white fairy's return.
"Paimon can hardly believe it, BB you are incredible, you single-handedly beat a dragon to the point where it ran away." The little fairy exclaims joyfully, celebrating her travel companion's victory.
"Don't act like my personal Cheerleader, my fight with the dragon was nothing worthy of praise or epic writing." The Traveler said, in an apathetic voice, dropping Dvalin's horn to the ground.
"Paimon, she's confused, you didn't just defeat a dragon and save a city, why not feel proud?" The little fairy asks, tilting her head, confused by her traveling companion's reaction.
"The Anemo Dragon is not a worthy foe, he has no power or intelligence, no comparison to the dragons I have fought in the past. He is merely a victim at best, a mad dog at worst." Said the Traveler, looking in the direction Dvalin flew away.
The Planeswalker in his mind does not consider the Anemo dragon an adversary, but rather a problem that can be solved with two methods: euthanasia or cure.
"Paimon will need to hear the details." The little fairy said, sure she didn't have all the pieces of the puzzle at her disposal.
"Let's talk later, I have to take off my armor now." The Traveler said, wanting to tell Paimon about his discussion with Barbatos in a more discreet place.
The Black Cube above the Traveler's head deactivated the "halo" and at the same time absorbed the magic present in the armor's base material.
The effect was immediate, the entire armor went from a solid to a liquid state.
The Traveler has returned to his pre-battle appearance, only he stands in the center of a puddle of black slime.
The same goes for the walking stick and the broken glider he received as a gift from Amber, the unknown material that wrapped and empowered them simply fell off.
"Paimon wonders if it's normal for your armor to be in this state?" the little fairy asks, looking strangely at the black puddle.
The Traveler reaches out with his right hand, saying nothing, the Black Cube has landed in the palm of his hand.
"The Daedalus Cube is one of my greatest works, among its many applications is the trick of producing a special material that can be molded into a myriad of shapes." Bruce explains, with a professional tone, but proud of his work.
"Paimon already knows. Paimon saw you create all the cooking tools, but he didn't know you could build something bigger." The little fairy said, not knowing what the Daedalus Cube could really do.
"My Cube allows me to create disposable weapons and armor, once I no longer need them, they are reduced to a helpless puddle that evaporates over time." Said the Traveler, having no problem leaving dirt behind, being a biodegradable material.
"But as a precaution, I will leave no traces." The Traveler said, sending a mental command to the Daedalus Cube.
The surface of the Cube began to glow, the puddle on the ground was attracted to the cube, as if it were a piece of iron in front of a magnet.
The mysterious substance has been absorbed from its original source.
After that, Daedalus' Cube seems to vanish into thin air, while the Traveler takes Dvalin's horn under his arm.
"BB, Amber is running towards us!" Paimon exclaims, pointing to the
Outrider of the Knights of Favonius which has just arrived on the scene.
"She didn't arrive too late, or too early." The Traveler comments, appreciating that Amber arrived after he put away his Cube and disposable armor.
The Planeswalker from Earth-2126 isn't someone who opens up to people easily and has a fair amount of paranoia, so I don't want to explain to Amber what he can actually do with or without his toys.
A worried Amber runs towards the Traveler and Paimon.
"Are you two okay? What happened?" Amber asks, beginning to inspect the traveling pair for injuries.
"The Traveler flew into the sky and fought Stormterror! He even managed to cut off part of one of the dragon's horns." Paimon exclaims, pointing to the trophy his traveling companion carries under his arm.
Amber's eyes widen in surprise.
"You took off one of Stormterror's horns!? I knew you were not to be underestimated, but I had no idea you were this strong." Amber said, looking intently at the Traveler's trophy.
"It's nothing important, just a shard of a dragon horn. How did you find us so quickly, weren't you supposed to be keeping the civilians safe?" The Traveler asks, changing the subject of the conversation, not wanting to reveal the details of his fight.
"As I was carrying the people of Mondstadt to safety, I saw a pair of black and white things being carried up high along with Stormterror in the distance. I couldn't think of you two." Amber said, having assumed the worst.
"I wasn't kidding when I said I was good at attracting trouble," said the Traveler with a little grin on his face.
"When I saw Stormterror gone and something landing, I had to run and see what happened. I'm glad you two are okay." Amber said, her heart filled with relief that the Traveler and Paimon are safe.
"You should only worry about Paimon, I'm very difficult to kill, worse than a cockroach or an incurable disease." The Traveler comments, not joking about his survival skills bordering on the absurd.
The little fairy and the Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, both girls raise an eyebrow not believing the Traveler's words.
'As always, the truth is the hardest thing to believe.' Bruce thinks, used to receiving looks of distrust from Paimon and Amber.
As a Planewalker and a hero, Bruce has seen and done things that most would consider impossible or the stuff of fairy tales.
It has happened more than once that someone does not believe his stories because they sound too exaggerated or unlikely.
"Now that the city is out of danger of being razed by the dragon, can you take me to the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius?" asks the Traveler, wanting to meet Amber's leader and see how he reacts to having escaped the Stormterror attack.
At that moment, a mysterious man slowly clapping appears on the scene.
"Enemy or friend?" asks the Traveler, standing in front of Amber and Paimon, holding his walking stick like a weapon.
"He's a friend." Amber said, quickly stepping in front of the Traveler.
The Outrider of the Knights of Favonius wants to avoid a pointless clash between the stranger capable of frightening a dragon and one of the most powerful men in Mondstadt.
The person who just appeared is a tall, very attractive male.
She has a tan complexion and navy blue hair with streaks of lighter blue, accompanied by a waist-length shock of hair that starts at the base of her scalp on the back of her head on the left.
Its visible eye is periwinkle with a diamond-shaped pupil.
Above his right eye, he wears a black eyepatch with gold trim that is mostly covered by his bangs.
The young man's clothing consists of a half-cloak with a fur collar; a white collared blouse that reveals his cleavage; dark, tight trousers; and knee-length boots.
Her Cryo Vision hangs from a loose brown belt, which also has a blue gem and string. She has a blue earring on her left ear.
"Do you really have the power to face the dragon? Are you a new ally... or a new storm?" asks the man with an eye patch over his right eye.
"Kaeya, you came at the right time." Amber said, turning her attention to the young blue-haired man.
"We have to..." Amber wants to say something, but is interrupted by Kaeya.
"Wait, Amber. Maybe you forgot to introduce us?" said the young man with an eye patch.
"Oh... right. This is Kaeya, our cavalry captain." Amber said, making introductions for the two strangers.
"These two are travelers from far away, the one dressed in black is called, Traveler, the mascot dressed in white is Paimon." Amber said, making introductions for the chapter.
'From afar? Is that all we know about them?' Kaeya thinks suspiciously, while maintaining a friendly expression.
"Paimon is not a mascot!" shouts the little fairy, not appreciating this label.
Amber ignores Paimon's words.
"Long story short..." The Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, begins by telling how she met the Traveler and Paimon.
XXX
After five minutes, Amber finished her summary.
"I understand. Welcome to Mondstadt, although I fear you have not arrived at the best time." Kaeya said, addressing the two strangers.
"I've had worse welcomes." The Traveler said in an apathetic tone, not seeming to mind having to fight a dragon as soon as he entered the city gates of Mondstadt.
"Paimon, it's hard to believe, a dragon tried to eat us!" exclaims the little fairy, vividly remembering how Stormterror approached them with his jaws open.
"If you are like me, you will see worse welcomes. If you want I will tell you a story about a shipwreck, a cursed island, tribes of cannibals and more." Said the Traveler, having a colorful past behind him.
"It's too late for Paimon to turn back now." The little fairy said, looking down at the ground, knowing that a long and dangerous journey awaits her.
"Look on the bright side, you never get bored with me around." The Traveler said, as he patted Paimon's head.
'They are a lively couple.' Kaeya thinks as he searches for information on the two strangers.
Kaeya raises his fist in front of his face and "coughs" drawing attention to himself, still wanting to talk to the Traveler.
"First of all, on behalf of the Knights of Favonius, I would like to thank you for the assistance you have just provided us." Kaeya said, starting the conversation with a more formal and official approach.
"I want less thanks and more of a reward, Paimon can't feed herself." Said the Traveler, taking advantage of the situation to get some money.
"Great idea, Traveler. We fought tooth and nail against Stormterror, we are tired and hungry, we deserve a reward for saving the city." Said the little fairy, exaggerating to get a bigger reward.
"How about a traditional Mondstadt delicacy, Sticky Honey Roast?" Kaeya asks, wanting to see how greedy the Traveler and Paimon can be.
"Paimon accepts the deal!" exclaims the little fairy, accepting the offer of food, especially since she has a certain tingling in her stomach.
The Traveler bangs his staff against the ground, then walks until he reaches Kaeya, eye to eye with him.
"This is the second and last time I have accepted a traditional dish as payment from the Knights of Favonius." The Traveler said in a serious voice, wanting to avoid cultivating the reputation of a low-cost consultant.
The Traveler steps back, giving Kaeya room to breathe.
"My owl mother taught me many things, one of her first teachings: If you are good at something, never do it for free." Comments the Traveler, trying to make his point.
"Your fight to defend the city against the dragon just now was witnessed by no small number of citizens." Kaeya said, trying to cheer up the black-haired stranger.
'I have certainly been seen by several people, but I doubt they have seen more than a black dot shooting magical attacks at the dragon.' The Traveler thinks, certain that his secrets are still shrouded in mystery.
"The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is also very interested in meeting you, and formally invites you both to our headquarters." Kaeya said diplomatically, wanting to bring the Traveler to talk to Jean.
"Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius, you are fortunate that I wish to discuss business with your leader." The Traveler said, maintaining a stoic expression, but his good eye seemed to sparkle with excitement.
The Planeswalker shifts his gaze to Amber.
"Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, lead the way again, I want to see what kind of person is in charge of Mondstadt." Said the Traveler, very curious to know if this Jean is a woman they can trust and can be of use to them.
'Because I feel like I just invited a wolf into my house.' Kaeya thinks, having a feeling that dealing with this Traveler won't be easy.
