Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Consuming the Autumn Water Dew, Advancing Once Again

Chapter 81: Consuming the Autumn Water Dew, Advancing Once Again

"I'm not exactly reluctant to leave, but this place is quite a blessed land. If it weren't so far from Martial Soul City, I'd really consider staying here longer," Han Li replied casually.

"That's true. The environment here is great, and it's perfect for cultivation, but it's a bit too remote. You rarely see people, which makes it somewhat inconvenient," Dugu Yan agreed, brushing her hair back.

"Alright, you should rest well. Use your soul power to nourish your body and adjust your state to its best. I'll go talk to Master and the seniors," Han Li said before descending from the platform.

After walking a few steps, he heard the familiar sound of chess pieces being placed and Dugu Bo's voice.

Lately, playing chess had become a regular pastime for the two Title Douluo. Guang Ling was terrible at chess, but he loved playing against Dugu Bo. This finally gave the Poison Douluo, who had been suppressed for so long, a chance to regain his dignity on the board.

Seeing Han Li approach, Dugu Bo casually called out, "Come, Xiao Li, watch how I beat your master."

Han Li smiled without responding and instead said, "Senior, Yan 's condition has reached its limit with medicine. It's time to stop and prepare for her martial soul evolution."

"She's reached the limit already? Alright, we'll go with your plan. When do we start?" Dugu Bo immediately put down the chess piece and turned to ask.

"Tomorrow. Let Yan rest for today. In the afternoon, you can give her some pointers. As for what she evolves into, that'll depend on luck," Han Li repeated the prearranged plan.

"Alright, no problem."

Dugu Bo cheerfully agreed and stood up. He glanced at Guang Ling, who was still hesitating, and decisively said, "I concede. You win this round. I'm going to check on Yan Yan."

With that, he disappeared in a flash, leaving Guang Ling stunned.

Frustrated, Guang Ling crushed a chess piece into dust. He had been so close to winning, only for his opponent to flee what was that supposed to be?

Seeing his master shift his angry gaze toward him, Han Li quickly changed the topic, "Master, I'll need your protection. I'm going to absorb the Autumn Water Dew."

"Alright," Guang Ling sighed, his resentment dissipating. Strengthening oneself was the priority.

"Are we going to your place, or do we do it here?" Guang Ling pointed to a large, flat rock nearby.

"Here is fine."

Han Li thought for a moment before walking over and sitting cross legged on the rock.

Flipping his wrist, he revealed a small, emerald green herb.

At the center of the herb, three snow white leaves held a few dew like droplets, glistening like morning condensation. Without hesitation, Han Li dripped them into his eyes.

As soon as the liquid entered his eyes, a refreshing sensation spread from his pupils, causing him to shudder.

However, the coolness quickly faded, replaced by a warm, soothing feeling as if his eyes were submerged in warm water. A subtle energy fused with his pupils, gradually refining them.

It was unclear how much time had passed, but Han Li finally absorbed all the energy and emerged from his trance.

When he opened his eyes, they were brighter than before. His right eye's Eagle Vision had already begun to function automatically one black, one red, with light swirling within them.

At this moment, everything before him became incredibly clear. Even the dust in the air was visible, and he could see farther without even activating his Eagle Vision.

On instinct, he activated it, and in the next second, he seemed to see through the mountain to the outside. The various elemental energies in the air appeared before him in clusters.

Following his intuition, he closed his eyes again. As expected, his mind still projected the surrounding scenery, even more complete and detailed than when using his eyes.

A hint of joy appeared on his face as he reopened his eyes and looked at Guang Ling.

"Master, help me test my spiritual power."

"No problem, go ahead," Guang Ling replied, curious to see the extent of his disciple's spiritual strength.

"Then be careful, Master. My soul bone now has a threefold enhancement."

As soon as he finished speaking, Han Li condensed his spiritual power into an invisible drill and fiercely attacked Guang Ling.

Guang Ling didn't take it lightly. He placed a barrier in front of himself, purely for defense.

A ripple spread through the air as the attack struck, but it quickly dissipated.

Han Li let out a muffled groan, his brain feeling as if it had been hammered. It took him a while to steady himself.

"Not bad. Your spiritual attack has reached the entry level of a Soul Douluo. Considering your soul bone's enhancement, your normal spiritual strength should be close to that of an average Soul Sage," Guang Ling commented with a smile, giving a fair assessment.

"Soul Sage, huh? That's pretty good," Han Li said with a grin.

"Heh, you really don't know how lucky you are. The biggest gap between a Soul Sage and a Soul Douluo isn't just soul power but spiritual power. Many people reach level 79 in soul power but get stuck at the Soul Sage stage because their spiritual power can only grow naturally. They can't advance."

"You're only a Soul Elder, yet your spiritual strength is already at the Soul Sage level. That's practically unheard of. And considering your age, even if you do nothing from now on, by the time you reach level 50, your spiritual power will naturally advance to the Soul Douluo level. Most people can't even dream of such progress."

Guang Ling walked over and flicked Han Li's forehead hard.

"Why do you always like flicking my forehead?" Han Li grumbled, rubbing the sore spot.

"Disciplining a disciple has to be done early. Who knows, by the time you're in your twenties, I might not be able to beat you anymore. Just collecting some interest in advance," Guang Ling laughed slyly, wrapping an arm around Han Li's shoulder and giving him a few pats.

"By the way, judging from what just happened, your two soul bones should have improved quite a bit as well, right?" Guang Ling asked.

"Yeah. The growth in spiritual power has increased their lifespan again. The enhancement to my spiritual attack, as I mentioned, has reached threefold. As for Eagle Vision, its x ray vision has been greatly enhanced, and I've gained elemental vision."

"As for my ability to see soul power circulation, the improved spiritual power has significantly reduced its energy consumption. I tested it, and while I still can't break through your soul power defenses, it should work fine against a Soul Sage. Though they'd probably notice, anything below a Soul Sage… heh, it'd be a massacre," Han Li said with a devious grin.

"You brat, that's pure cheating. If someone's spiritual power is weaker than yours, a simple jab with your spiritual attack while they're using a soul skill could make their soul power go out of control. And with your attack now carrying elemental properties, an unlucky opponent might even cause their soul ring to explode," Guang Ling gasped.

"Even if you don't play dirty, you can target weak spots in someone's soul power defense. That's way too much of an advantage."

Guang Ling couldn't imagine how soul masters of the same level would even stand a chance against Han Li in the future.

"Well, that's all thanks to Master's excellent teaching, isn't it?"

Han Li massaged Guang Ling's shoulders, buttering him up.

"That's true," Guang Ling accepted the flattery without the slightest shame.

For a while, the two laughed, their voices echoing across the valley.
